Yeah,
He's been put on a pedestal as if he's accomplished some cultural nirvana.
All he's done is ride the coat tails of the current DC and former OC the same way he rode the talent of his former QB into a false narrative that he had anything to do with his previous gig's success.
He got fired because his offense got stale. How ironic how this sounds kinda like why he fired Moore.

But you guys who are okay with status quo and/or wild card or bust results continue to enjoy your relevance.

When both this HC and QB1 prove me wrong I'll be right here to say so.

I won't expect those differing with me to show the same class.

But, that's life in the Zone.

If just being better than Garrett is the bar...
Never mind, lol
So are you upset they got rid of Moore? I’m confused?

I wasn’t high on Mike. I’m on record to saying I wouldn’t have brought him in. But he’s proved me wrong thus far.

The bar isn’t better than Garrett. But we have to be honest with ourselves and this organization. It’s not the best ran organization. But it’s shown progression and that progression started 3 seasons ago. It’s ok to not believe the hype. But let’s not fool ourselves into thinking this team ain’t close.

Guess you don't remeber they had it before paying for the SB....lmao
Guess YOU don't remember that you have to get that pick by trading your dead weight.

The Cowboys would rather double down on theirs.

We're just too smart and good to get better. The past 30 years says so. The Cowboys way is the way. Trust the process.

30 years of nothing and you're supporting this figure head saying "it's the penalty of being good"? lol

Where is all that "good"?

Will McClay has seen us win 4 Wild Card games in his career. That's it. You shouldn't let this dude act like we're just too darn good to get better.
Ken, Jazz, Rambo and the other company men all post as expected

You don't believe just like me.

I've proved that already.
Jerry loves you so much. You're the ultimate fan. You might be whining the whole time you're on that pole, but you still on that pole. 12 months out of the year. You're a like a stripper who complains about the men who come give you money. Yet here you are grinding that pole. Jerry throwing money at you all year. He loves you. Jerry's little whiny stripper.

I wonder if parting Kellens departure is he’s a little jealous of all that Quinn has done and thinks he can shine too as a coordinator here.

Quinn is out here turning down jobs to be a NFL HC.

That has to put pressure on him.

Especially when Dak is regressing and our offense no shows in the playoffs and loses to a 7th round QB.
Yeah I'm with you there.

He definitely pushed in his chips on a hope and a prayer strategy by firing Moore in an attempt to lengthen his coaching career imo.
It's all his now. All new hand picked staff.

Im not a McCarthy fan but will admit he's saddled with a no winning hand in trying to attempt a deep playoff run with Prescott.

I kinda feel sorry for him 'til I hear his coachspeak lies and then I can hear the Price Is Right announcer warming up with "Dan Quinn you're the next Contestant on Jerry's Clown Show" and I chuckle to myself.

Eagles had Wentz who had put up pretty good numbers in 2019 and yet went out and drafted Hurts in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft. This set them up to trade Wentz the following year. The Cowboys had the same opportunity to draft a Qb in the 2nd rd on Friday that had free fallin out of the first rd- yes they would have had to trade up but that was a chance that they did not take. Philly is in the crapper if they did not make that move back in 2020. So lucky or not, they made their own luck. We just sit back at our spot and hope nobody takes the player we want rather than moving up a couple spots to get him!

Qqq
Won't do anything, if he gets fired, he gets fired. If he wins, great. Then keep on winning. If not, then he goes.
Scapegoating? wow what a stretch there.

I don't form emotional attachments to coaches. Nor players. Yes there are players I like better than others. But once they are gone, they are gone.
I did not like Moore, not at a QB, not as the QB coach, and especially not as the OC. He may have been the exception, but the emotion was not a "like" :muttley:
You referred to Moore as an albatross. McCarthy then claims he has now become a run the damn ball and rest the defense kinda coach vice his previous 30 years of saying otherwise.

So yeah,
Kellen Moore was SCAPEGOATED because in your eyes he was to blame for team failure. NO stretch.

It aint got nothing to do with any personal/emotional link to a coach.

You needed an outlet and could not accept that the QB1 and HC were as much or imo THE reason for team failure but you chose the "blame it on Moore" route like many others.
I could care less for him as a QB but I always looked first at who Moore was stuck with at QB.
THAT was my determining factor.
But yeah you scapegoted/blamed him in the same way as the defense , Zeke, o-line and of course Jerry has been scapegoated in the past.

It's all good.
Cowboys!

"It's the penalty of being good" says the figure head for a franchise that hasn't done anything for almost 30 years.

We're so good it makes it almost impossible to get any better.
I believe I am going to start a, "Go Fund Me," in hopes of making enough money to keep you in Kleenex for the rest of the time you watch and comment on the Cowboys. I hate to think of all those salty tears ruining your only good shirt.

Just a straight forward question: Ever try to be subject matter correct to most of the informational 'reasons' actually being something that is NOT solely basked upon vintage sense of a lack of missed 'entitllement?'
This was very well said :flagwave:
