Why did you post the original thread.

Get over it. He was a fail bit here and will never amount to more than a speed bump in a Cowboy's trivia book.
Once again, if you can't read. My problem is with Spags. Yours is with the fact that QC beat out your Boy wonder.

I'LL SAY AGAIN, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE THAT WORKS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION CAN BE SO FAR FROM THE PULSE OF THE TEAM AS SPAGS IS.

THIS IS NOT A QC THREAD, BUT A SPAGS IS LAME THREAD.

He was wrong about that Qb debate as were you TD3. Your satisfaction is that someone is not in the league now and that is your resolve for being so wrong during the QB debate.

What is this, the Dallas Cowboys or the Sopranos? That's quite possibly the dumbest comment I've ever read. Even if Spagnola had jackdiddly to do with the personnel we keep around, it'd still be a dumb comment.

I have nothing to be bitter about, I predicted he would beat out Hutch and it happened. Its just pathetic to me how someone that was at the camp kept making excuses about what was going on. First, it was BP was playing mental games on Hutch. Then it went to BP was giving QC enough rope to hang himself. Next it went to BP would give QC the majority of the snaps for the first 2 pre-season game and then it would be Hutch's turn.

My problem has nothing to do with the QB debate, but how someoen that works so close to the team can be the furthest from knowing the pulse of the organization as Spags has shown.

He posted the orginal thread because he wanted to have a discussion about it, there is nothing in the rules that says he cant.

Not saying your post was in the wrong either but it's not your place to tell someobdy to move on, he was making a simple comment an opinion he felt, if you have moved on then you coudl easily by pass the thread, there was no need for sucha n abrasive post.

There is an agenda behind the original post by twobits. he was right and Spags was wrong.

Reread it.

He has been championing this cause for a long while. Hius angle is to "out" Spags as a hater of Carter.

Several things occur here.

They seem to always have an ar5ticle on the Kennedy assasination each year in the DMN. One of the truly low spots in dallas history, and it is played out in newsprint every single year.

It's called reporting. Nothing more or less than what the DMN and Spags was doing.

Spags also was beliitled as not having an original thought. However, I bet if you checked into it that the reporterse all were sitting around sipping a cool one yesterday and someone mentioned this. It's news. The one year anniversary.

But if Spags truly is a hater, then there is a line there longer than the one at the latest Star Wars opening. Mahy people see a window of hapless and inept play by this team. There is one player that is the poster-boy for that play.

That is Carter.

It's time we all move on. That horse finished last. Let's all tear up our tickets and go to the betting window for the next race.

Kitty - I want a quote out of Parcells mouth, reported by at least two people in the press, which states emphatically that he is interested in bringing back Carter.

Now that was the implication in the other post.

But I do not believe that for a minute.

The first ten minutes of his show today has been how one year ago QC got released. He keeps going on and on about, how ayear later, QC isn't even in foootball! Pathetic Spags! What the hell does this have to do with our TC this year?

They must have heard the rumor about QC too. It would be so ironic!

I am bitter too! The Dallas Cowboys the team I have always loved, spent three years on his no talent *** at QB, and in the end he screwed us over, becuase he couldnt control his own addictions. Any Cowboy fan who is ok with that IMO is wrong. 3 years wasted in mediocraty because of Quincy Carter its enough to aggrevate anyone.

There is supposedly a close friend of QC that is reporting that the Lions, Browns, and COWBOYS are interested in signing him this year. Each team is just waiting to see if he will have to serve a 4 game susp. from the NFL. The early word is that he will not have to serve it, so he has a chance to latch on with one of the three.

Quincy can not be suspended until he signs with a team. The NFL can't suspend an uncontracted player

i could understand the browns but the cowoys and lions? They and we have depth at QB that would be a pointless siging, and since BP said he is only bringing in 3 QB's the only way i see him getting here i if one of the QB's get cut.

Exactly.

That tells you that it is a bogus rumor.

Please feel free to post a link to this rumor. Then follow with a direct quote from Parcells.

I await you reply.

Well I guess my sense of humor didn't hint the sarcasm I was pointing to :)

Alright I was being sarcastic and not at you, btw., if you want me to be clear.

They have a starter in Harrington (at lest for now)
and a backup in garica why bring in Carter?

We have a starter in Bledsoe
and backups in Romo and Henson

BP said he's only bringing 3 QB's to camp, if he is coming back to us somebody is getting cut.

With the Dallas Cowboys?

Because that is the only team I am concerned about, and the team which I believe has done something a group of fans here and other places haven't.

Divorced themselves from this undisciplined athlete.

I could care less either way whether Q comes back or not. I couldn't tell from the original post what quote he meant. Actually, I took it as meaning that Parcells was dissing Q but that the rumor was saying the opposite & the poster was dismissing the rumor.

But you're absolutely correct that there have been no quotes from Tuna about bringing Q back. He hasn't even mentioned bringing in anyone else to look at (& reporters have been gingerly asking about that in the past few PCs). If there had been, it would have detonated like a nuclear bomb in the various newspapers.

So this is all about bashing Spagnola and it really honestly has nothing to do with Carter?

That's a good one, but I don't think it will fly.

Spagnola was the automatic posterboy of distain for the Carter fans because he was always vocal about Hutchinson. Then when we cut Hutchinson, the Carter fans were all yelling "In your face!!!" and bashing Hutchinson. I also vividly recall that he took a lot of heat from fans in his mailbag columns because he supported Hutchinson over Carter.

Now, when he basically has the chance to commemorate the one year anniversary of a pretty significant moment and sling the same mud, some of you Carter fans want to complain?
