Spears and Canty

We need to hear from you soon. Now we all know what 3-4 ends roles are in the defense, but we need to see something soon. Did they play Sunday?

Philly wanted to run the ball, but couldn't. Both guys played solid and Dallas also had to take them out of the game quite often because Philly was using so many 3+ WR formations and Dallas went to the nickel. There was even one play where Canty could've sacked McNabb, but got held and the refs missed it.

Perhaps there is a reason they quit running the ball .........

Let's be fair - the run defense hasn't been a problem this year.

I don't recall Spears being a great pass rusher in college.

Canty was a good one however, and showed flashes of speed last year.

The 3-4 has always needed good pass rushing LBs to be effective, IMO>
