Are you saying there are MORE weapons of Mass Distraction?

Our country is going to heck in a handbag!

Have you ever considered running for any political office Hos.?

My guess is you would get 75% of the vote from this board. I don't think it would be drawn by any racial, gender, or partisan lines. The 25% would just likely be people who you've squelched over the years. :D
Yeah, I almost ran for City Council here in Tucson several years ago. I would have been running against Fred Rondstadt (Linda's brother) and I felt that was an effort in futility. Amazingly though he did lose in the last election. He and our POS Mayor spearheaded the move to remove the City Charter from the Boy Scouts of America.

That old man must be getting senile or sumptin. Specter, anyway, always wants to be making news.
He was one of Vick's supporters when the dog fighting thing blew up. Then he was all atwitter over the spying thing. And he keeps threating sanctions if NFL does not live up to his standards.

Wish the old man would just go away.

I don't think he's asking for a federal investigation. He mentioned using one like was headed by George Mitchell. MLB hired Mitchell to do the independent investigation, not the U.S. government.

That is exactly how I read it to Speed. Look at all the chicken littles screaming that it will be our dollar.

People don't care to take the time to read and understand what he was calling for.

You hear senator and investigation and that is all they see.

Then it it WHOAAAAAA you aren't doing your job. I don't want my tax paying dollars to be used on this...blah blah.

I just wish folks would take the time and read things before jumping off the cliffs.

I like cliffs.

Mostly I think this story needs to die. Karma jumped up and ruined the Patriots perfect season. I don't want Karma to say they've put up with enough and give them another Championship.

A multibillion dollar industry is not able to regulate itself and is lying to the public yet this is a waste of money according to some?

Sorry but when there are subsidies going to petrol companies and million dollar toilet facilities in remote parks, this is a good expenditure of money.

The games that Specter cited, according to his meeting with Walsh, were Sept. 9, 2002 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nov. 16, 2003, against the Dallas Cowboys and Oct. 31, 2004 against the Steelers, a 34-20 New England loss that ended their record 21-game winning streak.

You mean little Bill stole big Bill's signals?:lmao: I remember that game, we could have won that game if Witten (I think) didn't drop a pass right into a Patriot linebacker's arms. Freakin almost beat them in their house with Quincy as the QB!
whoa! they even cheated against us? i wish bad things upon them next season.

This all could have been avoided if Goodell would have done a more thorough job in the first place and handed the Patriots and Belichick a tougher punishment.

Regarding Specter, he's a grandstanding POS whose horrific antics go all the way back to the Warren Commission.

He's grandstanding, but I love it. If not for Specter's involvement we would know nothing about Belicheat and the Cheatriots practices. This would have all been swept under the rug.

Even today Specter brought out how the taping actually was used to cheat during the games. Where was that from Goodell yesterday? Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall Goodell offering that information.

That is how I see things. If it were not for Spectre being a POS and grandstanding then we wouldn't know half of what we know.

Everyone here knows that.

With all due respect to those who wish this story to die... I want the truth... because yes I can handle it...and also because it still galls me that Wade Wilson who shall be held to a higher standard for trying to do what he can for a normal life gets a 5 game suspension and 33% of his salary whacked... and what Wade did would have NO, ABSOLUTELY NONE, ZERO, ZIP, NADA affect on the playing field...it caused no competitive imbalance...BB got a $500K fine and lost no time and it absolutely gave a competitive edge on the field.

Something is VERY WRONG with that picture
