I think you need to re-look at what happened and stop acting like I'm saying crazy stuff. I'm just politely telling you facts about the value of picks.

Tennessee basically got the equivalent of THREE 1st round picks (2 this year and one next year).

they got the 14th, 43rd, 45th and 76th...plus they got the next years 1st and 3rd.
the 14th obviously is a 1st rounder
the 43rd and 45th easily combine to make another 1st if a team wishes to trade up with those two 2nd rounders (they get you to the mid 1st round)
and then another 1st the next year
not to mention the 3rd rounders they got

Just look at the draft charts...they go by that to some degree.
The 4th overall adds up the two mid 1st rounders or a mid 1st and a late 1st at the absolute very least.
The point was you said we already traded 2 1st for Zeke which isn't true. Period. We didn't trade up we stayed at 4 and picked. I bet you anything you want had Dallas had 2 picks in the first yet wouldn't have traded up to 4 for Zeke. Teams only do that for QBs

Sorry for you, sir! You live in a Madden dream world. Madden is just a video game and no team would destroy their cap
buying his contract even if we were inclined to give them a 1st.

Madden football and fantasy football have ruined many of fans thought process....oh, there is that word again...process....must be a "day to day" way of thinking.....

Jury is still out on Clowney. He's flashed a lot and many think he is still the real deal, Phil
The jury was been back on Clowney for awhile and they found him Guilty of being a huge bust

He is only due 14m next year and not one penny is guaranteed...you should play more Madden franchise mode...that is less than Kaeperdick

I'd give a team a 1st to take his contract off our hands.
We can walk away from his contract without owing him another penny.....no one has to take his contract off our hands....but if they did they would be getting an elite QB for a 3yr/54m deal with 0 dollars guaranteed....he is only due 14m in 2017

If you want to trade Romo best case scenario is he comes back and goes 7-3 and gets hot. Wins a playoff game or 2. Then you can trade him in the offseason. For a 2nd rounder.

No I don't want to trade him but if you do that's how you can get best value for him.

However, the $14 million salary vests if he makes it to the 1st game.
Given his injury history, that is a huge risk.
He seems to be more fragile than any QB in recent history.

Peyton was a huge risk but he was a proven playoff winner.
I am a big fan but I would rather make that risk on Peyton than Romo.
Furthermore, Peyton's injury could be assessed by carefully his neck, but all of Romo's bones seemed to have lost their calcium.

Having said that, Romo will get the rest the season to prove himself because I dont think our cap will allow us to trade him this year.
If he plays great, then we are going to keep him.
If yet another injury takes him out, I suspect no one will want him.
If he does not play well, then no one will want him either.

Every 20m+ QB that steps on the field can be hurt on every play...teams still need great QBs and Tony is one of the top 10

Most don't even have Romo ranked in the top 15. He's 2 years removed from 2014 and has missed 16 regular season games and counting since last year. In the 4 games he played last season his passer rating was 79.4 and he had 8 turnovers compared to 5 TD's.

I guess we'll have agree to disagree, Bkight.

This is his make-or-break year, if he fails, then I will probably be in your camp, too. But he has flashed and there are still plenty in Texans land who believe he is a certifiable stud.

Respectfully :)

If that is what it takes to fully recover....he is using an oxygen bed from what I heard

Maybe he should call Al Jazeera and get some of that good HGH

A 4 game PED suspension would have been shorter than his time lost to injury and we could have used the roster spot
