Speculation: Brady Quinn possibly ineligible for 2006?!?!

1988-2000 more wins then ND had in that time? Really. Like to see the numbers. Though of course A & M were playing patsies a lot of the time.
By the way- any NC in that time period? No? oh, so sorry.

The SWC and the Big 12 are patsies? So Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Arkansas, etc. were all patsies? We beat LSU 5 straight years in the 90s, were they patsies? Not to mention we also played Florida State, ND, and Michigan, were they patsies?

The 20's are shaky. But everything before that is a joke.

Only because it disproves your uneducated arguement

Look, I just posted a link to OFFICIAL NCAA HISTORY that names Texas A&M the 1919 National Champion. Does anyone care? No, even A&M doesnt talk about that one much, but is it a fact and officially recognized by the NCAA? Yes, A&M has 2 National Titles according to the NCAA.

The NCAA has never officially recognized any National Champions in sports that do not have playoffs.

I drive through Waco everytime I go to College Station. I've been to 4 A&M games in Waco. I've had my maroon truck keyed, had beverages thrown at me, been cursed out in the parking lot on several occasions, and had to listen to Baylor fans claiming all-time superiority over A&M because of their 2004 win.

There is more than a little wrong at the school

The first sentence on your link blows your argument right out of the water
"THE NCAA does not conduct a national championship in Div 1-A Football"

No, but the NCAA does concede the NC to whom the polls select. The NCAA has every right to name the NC, and every right to take a NC away. They choose not to.

See above post, they dont name them, but they DO recognize them

Write off every single college then, because what you mentioned has not only happened to more than one person I know IN College Station (I've actually seen an entire group of opposing fans get the **** beat out of them in the A&M parking lot after a midnight yell for singing their school song), but everywhere around the country. It's college football and it's hostile.

Baylor fans are no different from the rest of D-1, and especially when it comes to in-state rivalries. I would never do anything like that, but seriously dude, per everything else, don't write off an entire fan base because of a few miscreants.

Though I notice that in 1919 ND shares in the so called NC with A & M, Harvard and Illinois.

The NCAA does not recognize NC in Div 1-A that link is quite explicit.
THE NCAA IS NOT INVOLVED. Only a really twisted type could claim NCAA recognition.

Have to laugh at some of the so called NC's listed there. I can see several cases where one team beat the living crap out of another, and some organization has that crap team as a NC.

according to that site ND has a piece of or most of 21 National Championships from 1919-1993.

Do you not understand the difference between naming a NC and recognizing a NC? The NCAA does not name National Champions, and I never claimed they did. They DO recognize them, meaning they list them in their archives as National Champions. Whether or not you wish to believe it is your problem.

And most National chmapionships before the BCS had more than one team have a share of the NC according to soem poll

Post a link to those archives where the football NC's are lumped in with the rest of the OFFICIAL NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. AND SAY THAT THEY ARE OFFICIAL NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS AS WELL.

It's not jsut that, it's the whole "holier than thou" attitude they have towards other schools, especially towards A&M whom they view as their rival.

It's obvious that you do not understand the meaning of recognition. The NCAA AWARDS NC in other collegiant sports, they RECOGNIZE NC in football. College football titles will not be listed with other NCAA titles in any archive because they are seperate entities. However, every single official college football archive recognizes teams who won the National Title. The NCAA can take away or give a NC any time they choose to, they have that power. They choose not to, but for official purposes, they do recognize that team's accomplishment.

No matter what you think of a poster or his logic, keep the personal attacks out the discussion.
