Speculation: Brady Quinn possibly ineligible for 2006?!?!

And A&M beat the mighty 1988 Domers in the Cotton Bowl, Heisman winner Tim Brown and all.

Were you even born yet? I watched all 3. A&M had a good team that year. But that beating that A&M gave ND lit the fire that led us to the National Title the next year.

Yes, I was born, and I don't really care what you did the next year.

The chants of "Heisman who?" as the game wound down were greatness :lmao2:

Do you care about A&M's 3 wins in the Big XII last year? Huh?

ND will be top 5 in the country next year and A&M isn't even top 5 in Texas. Do you care about that? :lmao2:

Actually it was the 87 team that Brown was on. It was the 88 Team that won it all and the NC. Something A & M has never done. Sad to see what an advanced case of P***S envy does to someone after so many years.

poor ol A & M.
didn't Jackie sherril coach there- he coached at just about every other junk university.

Again, living vicariously through a school 2,000 miles away....hmmmm

And I challenged you to name 5 Texas teams that are better than A&M. tu, Tceh, and who? 3 to 1 says you will claim TCU, to which I may never stop laughing. I dont care where they are ranked, they are a mid-major team with mid-major talent and won exactly ONE big game last year.

Wrong (again). A&M won the NC in 1919, 1939, and was one win away from claiming it in 1975 and 1992. Despite what you may want to believe, Texas A&M is no historical sloutch in football. That would be the sand fleas from Lubbuck.

Baylor, Tech, Houston, Texas, and TCU will be better then A & M next year.

Jeez, you really have it out for A&M, don't you? Yes, Jackie Sherril coached at A&M, where he won 3 conference titles in 4 years. R.C. Slocum also coached here, where he won 5 conference titles and made A&M the 5th most winning NCAA team from 1988-2000. More wins than your Domers had in that time frame.

Wait, wait, wait....

Couger High? The cult-like southern baptists (not offending anyone who is baptist, I am as well, but those folks down at Baylor are nuts)?

I must save this thread and bump it for posterity come December

NC did not start untill the 20's so forget about 1919. 1939 was legit so A & M gets one. Gee- and it was only 67 years ago.

No one who had Sherril for a coach can ever accuse anyone else of sleeze.

1988-2000 more wins then ND had in that time? Really. Like to see the numbers. Though of course A & M were playing patsies a lot of the time.
By the way- any NC in that time period? No? oh, so sorry.

No one recognizes anything before the 20's, and some do not recognize anything before the 30's.
