I'd like to know what would be gained by cutting Henson?

Might be more a question of cutting losses, if the organization has truly lost faith in him.

Plus Bill and Jerry are usually pretty good about cutting a guy earlier rather than later so they have a chance to pick up with another team.

Well for your sake I hope he is right, because everytime someone comes in to post an inside tip, that turns out to be wrong (whether by their fault or not)...god kills a kitten.

I've been a Henson supporter, and I still think Jerry is in his corner, but with JJT just this week coming out in an article and actually saying "the Henson experiment may be over", I am beginning to think what I thought about the T.O. rumors when they started circulating. "Where there's smoke, there's fire."

I would love to see Henson be the QB of the future, but deep down inside I don't think he can do it. His mechanics aren't consistent enough and he has never been able to stop locking in on his target.

I hope he stays and is eventually "The Man", but, imo, the odds are pretty long for him right now.

The sad part for our future, (post-Bledsoe), is that until we get our QB of the future, we are just going to be another middle-of-the-pack team.

the two other reports I gave you were accurate. My friend said Vanderjaqt would be signed and he was that day , but the deal wasn't announced until the following day. That dallas was going to draft a qb, I said if one fell down near there spot , and there has been numerous reports by reporters dallas was looking into drafting a qb but they didnt fall far enough for them to draft one in the first. so everything ive told you people has been true. im telling you henson is going to be cut soon.

You were 1 for 2 on those. And just because you have a buddy over at VR mopping the floors and he happened to see Vanderjagt in the bathroom a few days before he signed his deal with Dallas, I'm not buying this Henson crap.

You keep saying he can't play at all.

Not at all, I said he's an 8-8 type qb, his career winning percentage is only around 50 percent despite the fact he's never been on a truly bad team. His last two teams deemed him the 'weakest link', that's why they let him go. He's mediocre after 13 seasons while you criticized our old 'bus driver' who has had barely 2 years worth of experience, yet got us to the playoffs with an inferior supporting cast in a year when Culpepper, McNabb,Bulger were all healthy as well as Farve's supporting cast. Bledsoe couldn't get us to the playoffs last year with the rest of the NFC starting qb's looking like a mash unit, plus Aaron Brooks not having a 'true' home game and Farve's starting supporting cast or IR. Bringing in TO is an act of desperation to get a Bledsoe-led team into the playoffs, it's an extreme measure, that's not my kind of qb. Look at all the qb's who've qb'ed teams to the playoffs since Bledsoe's last time(Kyle Orton,Anthony Wright,Trent Dilfer,Chris Simms,Brian Griese,QC,Shawn King), yet some here want to put him into the Hall of Fame, what a joke.:laugh2:

I like QC better than Banks and Blake...:starspin

So do I, but even still, they're much better options than Bledsoe's other backups.

If they are so good, why are they available?

Banks and Blake are unemployed and have been for months.

No-brainer.

Which means nothing. Chicago supposedly had a qb controversy between Rex Grossman whose as brittle as eggshells and Kyle Orton who is god-awful, while Blake sat the bench. Blake would have at least given Chicago's defense an occasional break with a couple of first downs. Muhsin Muhammad would have had much better numbers comparable to what Larry Fitzgerald had with Blake. Chicago basically wasted a season with Orton and Grossman when they didn't have to suffer as much. That's how smart the NFL is today withregards to quarterbacks. Not.

It does?

How so?

Oh wait, I get it. Conspiracy against these two top shelf talents. Got it. Just say the word.

They "wasted" a season, but found out that Orton can be serviceable and still made the playoffs. But starting Jeff Blake would have made them better? LOL!

So why hasn't anyone signed Blake? He has been walking the streets for quite some time now.

Just say it. This ought to be classic.

Don't listen to him, folks. If Henson is getting cut, you won't have found out from this character.

Blake has been a turnover machine since leaving Cinncy, and he was never that accurate when he was 'good' with them. There is a reason he sat behind those two.

Banks is just horrible.

I'd play Romo in a heartbeat over either if for no other reason than I don't already know for certain he's that bad. These guys I do.

Per KrankKase here, it isn't because he's awful. I wonder why?

How can something that is impossible be a fear?

That's like me being scared of shark attack if I will never step foot in the ocean.
Was TO to Dallas impossible, was Houston drafting Mario Williams over Reggie Bush impossible or Matt Leinart falling to 10th impossible. Acts of desperation make anything possible. What if TO doesn't elevate Bledsoe to 'star status', another year older next year for both and still no playoffs, what then. Yeah, go head and tell me that you knew Parcells was coming to Dallas of all places back in 2002.

Hate to tell you this, but it isn't just this board.

The CFL has 8 teams and the NFL has 32.

There are a couple of you Krankcase fans who can't let go, and then you want to blame it on this forum.

The NFL had one of its worse years of quarterbacking in the last 25 years last year and it was the GMs fault. That's why they're now saying there's no way know who can play qb and who can't. No one thought QC could quarterback a team to the playoffs in 2003, the Dolphins GM picked Hutch to beat out Carter for the starting job that year. That's why people are now saying that maybe the 'experts' really aren't experts after all. And certainly no one thought that the Cowboys would go 15-17 without Carter, even with all the updates to their defense, their receivers and RB's, and oh yeah, qb's, alledgedly.:laugh2:

From someone I do have some faith in and do believe.

It doesn't add up. Not even with JJT's article.
