The NFL had one of its worse years of quarterbacking in the last 25 years last year and it was the GMs fault.

The NFL has a GM? The whole league does? And Quarterbacking, something a GM doesn't coach is his fault? League wide?

Let me ask one more question before I move on to the rest of this nonsense. Do you actually know anything about the game of football or do you just sling stuff out there with conviction thinking all of us are who PT Barnum was talking about?

That's why they're now saying there's no way know who can play qb and who can't.

I can speak 7 languages and read 3 of them. This looks liks English, but I have no earthly clue what it's saying. Once again I must ask questions for clarification.

We don't know who in the NFL can play QB and who can't? Then why are their approximately 96 QBs in the NFL who have jobs and make NFL rosters every year? By what you just said, no one knows if they can play QB or not.

No one thought QC could quarterback a team to the playoffs in 2003, the Dolphins GM picked Hutch to beat out Carter for the starting job that year.

Both Hutch and Krankcase are out of the NFL. The Dolphins GM offered an opinion. One that didn't show confidence in Krankcase. So that means he knows nothing? Oh, I should have waited until the next sentence.

That's why people are now saying that maybe the 'experts' really aren't experts after all.

Now the truth comes out. You think you have GM potential because you see the potential in Krankcase that no one else sees and you could build a team around him.

And certainly no one thought that the Cowboys would go 15-17 without Carter, even with all the updates to their defense, their receivers and RB's, and oh yeah, qb's, alledgedly.:laugh2:

What causes people like you to have such delusions about a player's talent? Be honest with me. It's because you won a Super Bowl on Madden 2004 or a fantasy football league championship one year. Lay your cards on the table krankcase. From where does this supreme confidence in your own evaluations of football talent over guys who actually know something about the game come from?

I have never, ever, in all my life (and I have been through some serious circumstances) seen someone so obsessed with anyone like kartr is with Krankcase! I mean, really, this is beyond real!

Either kartr is really Krankcase, or, kartr is Krankcase's papa, or, kartr is Krankcase's mama? Maybe kartr is Krankcase's dealer, and he NEEDS Krankcase to make some coin?!


Man, someone really needs to get the answer to why karter is so enamoured with a 2nd rate, drug induced, mixed up fool who thinks he is "one of the greats"!

So if we put Crankcase at the very top of your list, which I assume you omitted him because he's the obvious choice, the top 4 choices are Crankcase, Blake, Banks, and Stewart. Was TO to Dallas impossible, was Houston drafting Mario Williams over Reggie Bush impossible or Matt Leinart falling to 10th impossible.

These are all examples that were contingencies and fate. Carter has to have not only talent (which is questionable), but also find a GM/Owner foolish enough to take a chance on him, not to mention actually MAKE an organized football club.

Acts of desperation make anything possible.

I got some breaking news for you all, Im from new jersey and one of my friends is a good friend of the x jet sam garnes. garnes is a close friend to lamont jordan and told my friend that the Cowboys are trying to get both jordan and abraham.

He also told my friend that Jordan doesnt know if he wants to go because hes looking to be the featured back, but said he might consider it if the price is right. He also mentioned Abraham to my friend who parcells did draft.

Guys since my friend who works for the Cowboys provided such a accurate report on Vanderjaqt ive been constantly bugging him to try and find out some more juicy info on the inner workings of the Cowboys.

I mean hes not a high up or anything , but he said he will try to ask around , as he sees some guys weekly bi weekly who have some knowledge of the inner workings .

So I called him today and he told me that Dallas is really looking at harrington as the second string qb. He said Dallas feels they have a real chance for a Super Bowl this season and would hate to see that go up in smoke if Bledsoe got hurt and no solid second string guy could come in and do the job. ...Seriously....Tony Romo...

anyway he told me it all depends on henson's progress in europe. From what he gathered from a player personal employee directed qouted '' Europe is Drews last chance not only for us but probably for the Nfl, if he doesnt show he's capable playing there then were definatly going to be seriously considering Harrington or drafting a qb in the first few rounds''

Dallas wants a Qb in the draft

Mike my source with player personal is telling me now , Dallas is most definatly looking to draft a qb in this years draft . The Word is still about henson . If he lights it up he will stay if not Dallas will be drafting a qb as early as the first round.

Harrington still remains an option but the guy im talking to is telling me Dallas is seriously looking at vince young now and might choose to move up in the draft to take him IF he hovers around 18th.

I think this is great news, I think with bledsoe probably only having two more solid years , this year is a perfect season to draft a qb . this way bledsoe can groom him alittle bit.

anyway im going to be out in oxnard i think this summer we should definatly meet up . are you still with your girl?? give me a shout

This is what Im getting from my Guy who works with the Cowboys. Rumor has it Henson is going to be cut and a Vet backup brought in. He's telling me that Jerry Jones tried to shop henson in the draft with no buyers and now they will probably just cut there ties with him since hes got an easy contract to back out of.

Also he told me during the Mini Camp Henson was constantly complaining about his injury he suffered in europe, some think as an excuse for his poor showing at the camp.

In anycase He tells me within 2 weeks henson will be Cut and that the browns did show some interest in him during the draft.

Thanks for the valuable info MikeD! The Answer suspects he will be let go before camp as well, in fact it will be nothing more than a formality when it happens.

The Answer has known that the Henson project has run it's course for quite some time but people on this board have refused to listen. You don't get sent to the NFLE by your coaches and front office if you are perceived as starting material. You get sent there to be evaluated if you have skills to be a back up or pine rider. The Answer's theory is that the front office didn't want to look stupid considering JJ's history drafting QB's (Using a 2nd rounder on QC) and wanted to salvage the Henson project by at least auditioning him in the minors. Now granted Henson wasn't terrible over there, but he wasn't the dominant force that should have left NFLE players, coaches and fans in awe and fascination.

Henson will never have a chance with this organization and his best chance at salvaging his career is with another team. The Answer thinks that Cleveland would be a great fit among a few other teams that are in dire need of a young QB to develop. Ironically Houston (who originally drafted him) might be a good place too because former #1 pick David Carr has faltered thus far in his career. Buffalo has 3 bums on their roster and could be a fit for Henson as well.

The Answer wishes Henson well in his future endeavors and thanks him for the hard work and effort he gave us trying to make it as a Cowboy!
