I actually think that he might win out in training camp. That dude has a BIG chip on his shoulder for what happened to him. And, this "hasn't proven anything" stuff applies to every new player entering the NFL. Some work out, some don't...but I think this big ugly is going to not only work out, but he is going to work some others out!
If it wasn't broke, why fix it?
"Might"?
He is a stud. He is the starter right now. Sight unseen.
I get that people like Ron Leary but seriously.
My name isn't Pauline. If you don't think Gregory, Hardy and Jones aren't upgrades to Selvie, Spencer and Moore you're hopelessly confused about the topic of football. If you don't think Scandrick is a starter on many many teams you're blind and biased. Judging by your history here and elsewhere, see I know your poor track record, I'd say all those are true.
What humors me is the contradiction in your steadfast attack on predictions that don't mesh with your own and your plain as day history of failure in that respect. And the fact that your entire argument is based in the absence of an individual who was present when you made a fool of yourself previously.
Demarco Murray's here: 5-11.
Oh Noes Demarco Murray is gone: 5-11.
the cowboys had the choice to sign murry they would not because of the money I assume so they really let him walk if they thought that he was really so key ithink they would of have done things differently,or that's what I hope any way.

Ask Murray. He is the one that bailed for more frogs! His family could not live on 5 or 6 million a year... noooo...he needed 8 plus million to help buy some cornbread and beans for his family.
Murray is going to regret his decision, right after he wins the SB that he signed with Philly for.
I do agree here. Collins will start this year and remain locked in for many many years.
As much as I don't agree with most everything else, I completely agree with you here. While IMHO it hurt both sides/parties involved, Demarco will suffer in Philly.
Bro...if Murray would have just accepted the 5 or 6 mil the Cowboys offered him, he would be with a team that is coming together for the long haul. The Cowboys are not going to hurt because Murray left town. The ones that are hurting are the fans that think he was the one player that won 12 games. Bll****e....the offensive line is what FINALLY made Murray think he is the best thing since Emmitt Smith. Plus...the Cowboys just added another young ugly on the offense, and he is coming into the league with a vengeance!
Many did. Including many of us on this very board. Then amazing happened in the form of Scott Linehan's approach and Demarco's will.
You did not mention the offensive line in this post. I find that offensive.
Of course you hope you're right and I can't argue with that.

Lol.. it kinda goes without saying. Kinda like Demarco for others right? See how that works?
What? Last month? lmao Enlighten me on which thread.
Which means what exactly? This is not a zero sum game. I have seen the Positive Paulines around these parts predict amazing seasons year after year and last year they were right. But for years they were not.
So which is the norm for them? Should all the predictions now be cast in stone, or is it maybe sometimes you're right and sometimes your wrong?
Nothing suggests this team is better now than they were last year in the running game. Nor does going back to pass first bode well for a team that FINALLY figured out clock control and the run game is how you hide a poor defense.
And while people are giddy about the teams new toys, and I number in that group, the bell cow pass rush is suspended for ten games, and you are depending on a rookie, two line backers in Lee and McClain that seem to get injured, a pass defense of Carr - whoopee - and Scardrick - not a starter on many many teams, and a rookie in Jones to be a bandaid for a huge hole in pass defense until the Kracken gets back.
So the one saving grace last year packed his stuff and headed east and we have bench warmers and are betting on the come on an inside straight flush to keep continuity and balance on offense.
It's fun making funny retorts and killing the messenger. Less so when you face the truth about what is and what isn't.
They may be right. They may be wrong. But dismissing the possibility this team took a serious step back and outsmarted themselves isn't out of the question.
