That us an arrogant comment considering his history.
You should love that he said that. Given that he's not one to brag, you have to take it at face value. He's confident .

Now if he starts throwing the ball behind Devin Street, our precise route runner, straight out of Precise Route Running College, that's when I'll have a problem. Team Romo.
How many starting QB's really have a guy back there "pushing" them?
That thought is absolute nonsense.
You get a 1st round QB behind romo and it's not helpful to the franchise.
It's instant quarterback controversy.
And you know it.

Last year, Romo had a tendon taken from his back that was causing him problems. They put the tendon in his throwing arm so that he could get more velocity on his throws.

If the 2 Lombardi's were the result solely because of E-Lie's play you would have a good point . . . . . . . . . .
He must not have watched Romo in the 2012 game then.
Big deal we have two guys vying for the job. I would prefer two guys scrambling for a position than the head coach hanging out with the starting qb at a bunch of basketball games.
It's such a cozy atmosphere. Sickening situation. When the page gets turned, perhaps the organization will get back to the basics. That's a top flight QB held to the appropriate standard with a continuous eye on grooming a backup to truly do the job if he goes down. I hesitate to say we will never win a super bowl with Romo because stranger things have happened. Romo is a solid QB but his skills are beginning to erode and we have no contingency plan. Weeden? PUHLEEASE...
This isn't just about Romo though. It is mostly about the HC that lacks the basic ability to outsmart opposing HCs.
Every documentary on Tom Landry features the fact that he didn't want to get too close to his players because it affected his objectivity. At this stage of Romo's career we need the organization to be as objective as possible regarding him. The stakes financially are just too high to allow personal relationships muddy the waters.

When I look at his TD/INT ratio last year I don't see it.
Excellent point!
broken record just as boringThey sure don't need to find anybody to push him. His elevated play wouldn't be helpful at all.
We all know numbers never lie right?
