Me:
Start - Aikman
Bench - Romo
Cut - Dak

COWBOYS!
Only way aikman starts is with the 90s team. If everything wasn’t perfect for aikman he sucked.

Start: Dak (any era)
Bench: Staubach
Cut: Romo & Aikman (they threw 2 many interceptions)

sorry haters
Romo and Aikman threw the most interceptions...by far. It's not even debatable.

Aikman was clutch during the SB winning playoffs, but he struggled badly after he lost The Great Wall of Dallas due to free agency. His career yearly stats back that up.

Romo was a gambler 100% of the time and always committed turnovers (interceptions and fumbles), especially at the worst and most costly times. Good talent but a huge turnover machine.

Dak and Staubach are the only ones who were more secure with the football and were legit hybrid/dual threat QBs.

For all reasons stated above, I can understand why you posted your Cowboys QB rankings.

Start Aikman, bench Romo, cut Dak.

And I am a Dak fan saying this. Aikman and Romo were better QB's, but some people will twist this into thinking this means Dak is bad. Which he isn't. He just isn't on Aikman's Hall of Fame level or a healthy Romo's amazing abilities to make plays.
Lol...thanks for the laugh.

Romo was this franchise's biggest turnover machine, especially at the worst moments. Sure, he had talent, but he's not labeled "The Choker" for no reason.

Aikman was great during his SB years, especially the playoffs, but he sucked royally those few years before and after when he didn't have the best Oline in the NFL and the best talent around him. Those are facts that show on his career yearly stats and films.

Eli Manning was a bigger turnover machine than Romo (and over a longer period) but Eli has two rings. Because he had the support from his defense and running game that Romo never had.

all lacked a championship roster. Funny part is you think it was all the qb that win it for stauback and aikman. Far from reality.

You remain a casual fan that lacks true football understanding.
And you have less understanding than I do if you want to make that kind of a statement.

I 'liked', then 'unliked' your post bro.

Romo had a franchise record 13 Pro Bowlers around him in 2007. Yes, 13! He had a very good Oline and group of RBs at that time, plus some pretty decent Defenses during 2006 - 2015. Same goes for a rushing attack 2 years later in 2009. Also the 2014 season. Let's stop saying Romo never had a running game or support from his Defenses, because he had them for most of his starting years (2006 - 2015), much better than Dak had.

Don't believe me? Check out this statmuse link. Go to the top tab and press on "PPG" to show the points per game averages Cowboys Defenses gave up as an average every year (between 2000 - 2022). Most of Romo's starting years were pretty good Defenses, better than what Dak has had.

Cut - Dak

COWBOYS!
Robo Cop Troy Boy Starts - 3 time Super Bowl Champ
Dak Attack Bench - he proved he could go 13-3 off the bench
DuFuddy Romo Cut - was an UDFA with more interest in Golf and broadcasting than being a Super Bowl Champion QB. Talented coach killer.

Looking at the stats on pro football reference Dak is gonna smoke these guys out right. He wins a Super Bowl or Two He 's sure fire HOF.

Don't shoot the messenger. Just stating the FACTS. He's already passed Troy in td passes, at this moment he's the leader in comp % and he's leading in QB rate.

Now I Don't give a Rat's Glute if he's better that any of these great men that came before him, or if people say they are better than him. Fact is We as Dallas Cowboys fans

Have had some QB's to talk about over the course of our fandom (Some Longer than others)

Dak Go Get It !!!!!

What If Dak is the QB of three SB ? Shouldn't that be what WE ALL are rooting for ?????

:lmao: :lmao:

Thank you for showing why you constantly bash Dak at every turn.

Anyone who chooses Romo over the guy that won 3 SBs for this team needs their head examined.
Romo was a good QB, nothing special. Big numbers when everyone was putting up big numbers. I remember his key losses as do all Cowboys and non Cowboys fans.
2006 Seattle, 2007 Giants, 2008 against the Ravens, lost to the Giants last game of season, Lost to RG3, couldn’t take his helmet off. That multi interception game against Detroit where he threw a couple of pick 6’s.
I preferred him over Dak as I felt he was more talented but when it’s all said and done I think Dak will have more playoff wins and more success. Not even a Dak guy.
Romo went from Zero to Hero too quick and that was his downfall. He had his chances, 2007, 2009, 2014, failed to make the playoffs ,remember his December swoons?

I felt the same way...I don't know how this ends for Dak but I know I Saw more from Dak in the TB game than I EVER saw from Romo in the playoffs.

You just provided evidence that you're wrong.
2006-2014 (2015 and 2010 are not good seasons to use as Romo was out most of both). 22 ppg average allowed.

2016-2022 (minus 2020 same reason as above): 20 ppg average allowed. The ONLY year the defense had bad numbers during Dak's tenure is the year he missed.

How is allowing 22 ppg "much better" than allowing 20 ppg?

"Very good group of Rbs" - Overrated Barber, and the likes of Julius and Felix Jones?" Murray is really the only reliable guy he had, and they didn't use him much.
"Very good OL" - in 2014 only, and a solid one in 2007.
