Video: Stephen A Smith Interviews Jerry Jones

You understand that Stephen A. is acting when he does that, right? Jerry knows this and uses it for his brand the same way SAS does his schtick for his brand. Mutually beneficial, game recognizes game, yadda, yadda, yadda.
It is amazing that fans do not understand that people like Stephen A., Skip Bayless, etc. are entertainers who simply focus on sports topics.

They are purposely presenting strong, overly animated personalities because that's what their brands are built around.

The mistake by many people is treating them like a news anchor desk commentator when that's not what they are nor is that even something they claim to be.

The irony is people caring enough to complain about them while saying they don't care about them. :D

I don't agree with everything they say nor do I care for their loud rants on various topics, but they are still entertaining enough for me to watch them occasionally.

More right about what? The still uncertain conclusion to their contract negotiations?
All summer there wasn’t a week that would go by without one of these “insiders” saying a deal would be done within the week.

All summer I said “no it won’t”.

How they can be called “insiders” after their summer of failure is beyond me.

Love your last sentence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What cracks me up even more is the personal attacks against these media personnas simply because they don't agree w/ them.

And it's just so obvious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Point taken. So, how does your posted (sometimes unnamed) sources differ from these other 'insiders'?

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Thursday a source "with direct knowledge of the situation" said it is "looking like free agency at this point" for the quarterback who is entering the final year of his current contract.

Fowler also called the negotiations "confounding" and added that Dallas "will have to come around" on the "inevitability" that Prescott will be the league's highest-paid quarterback when he does sign his next deal.
Well of course it's looking like free agency at this point because Dak hasn't signed an extension and the cut-off date is just a few days away.

That's not "inside knowledge" that's simply common sense.

Yup. All you had to do was watch Jerry in the post debacle game interview and see the lost look on his face, the resignment and confusion. At that point, it was easy to conclude that there was a very good chance Dak would not be resigned.

“So far” being right is much better than being wrong weekly like some of these “insiders” have been all summer.
And what are your thoughts if those who were wrong all summer long end up being right in the end? You know. Hypothetically speaking?
