Need a Doc to speak to it, but isn't the Patellar tendon more difficult to repair and rehab?

His deal is fully guaranteed. Costs the same if he is here or not.
Well, he can't be done here until after he gets the surgery, goes through the recovery and can pass a physical.
If that's the case, I can see them bringing him back for one last shot at salvaging something of his career and the investment made.
