  • COO Stephen Jones says the fans have every right to be disappointed with how they played yesterday.
  • "We got a lot of confidence that we have a really good football team here, we just have to clean some things up,"
  • "We're very fortunate to have Dak. We're going to win a lot of games with him. We just had some unfortunate things happen (in yesterday's loss)."
  • Stephen Jones says they aren't considering making any moves on special teams in regards to punter Chris Jones and kicker Brett Maher.
  • Is Garrett on the hot-seat? "Absolutely not. He's done a great job with this team. He had the guys playing hard when it could have gotten really ugly," Stephen Jones.
  • Stephen Jones to the fans who are upset: "Just hang in there with us. I really believe we're going to correct these things to be really more consistent. I feel like the best is yet to come."

We are run by idiots.

We would have been better off losing 34-3. Do you guys know people at work that are completely worthless but do just enough to keep their job? That's Garrett...

Did he mention anything about why it was completely unnecessary to extend Jaylon Smith year early only to watch him revert back to his rookie year of bad angles and general poor football instincts?

I got a really crazy idea.

Hear me out. I know it will be nuts but I think it may pay dividends so don't stop reading until the end.

How about instead of playing hard when the game is about to get ugly, how about you play hard when the score is 0-0?

I've said many times on here that this team needs to play EVERY GAME like it's a playoff elimination game if you lose. Even if we make the playoffs this year, we'll be playing in GB or NO now that we lost both tiebreakers.

Of course we could play in Seattle or LA. Good times!!!! Not like home field does anything for us anyway...

They've convinced themselves that the fan base has accepted playing hard as the end game. Winning titles is now secondary to playing hard. News flash Mr. COOOOOOO, there are 31 other NFL teams that play hard also. Miami stinks, but they play hard.
yup its kin to " everyone gets a participation trophy" BOY..how far the goal posts have moved these days lol.. low standards.

The fact that Maher still has a job just shows how there’s no accountability in this organization
Maher has a known issue kicking from the right hash marks.

I don't remember the exact numbers but he is some like 90% fail from the right hash and 90% success from the left.

The Head Coach needs to consider that issue when running plays. A play that end to the left would have put him on the left hash.

He's an idiot. Fire the clown at HC and lets move on. I cannot stand this BS and the mediocrity. I may focus 100% of my time on the NHL. What a tragedy that we allow a guy that is the joke of the league to guide this team. I am sure the players are looking around for leadership and finding none.
agree...I am with you.. PACKERS PLAYERS WERE ACTUALLY TAUNTING AND LAUGHING AT US. Jeeeerrry ok with that? AND sonny boy Stevie? Snake oil salesman sure die hard tryin lol..

Oh, I believe he's worse.
it is. Not only is he complicit, but he takes it up a notch. He actually THINKS he can sell the fanbase on the idea that all is well ..like we are his children and HE KNOWS BETTER than we do. At least Jerry tries to do something for the most part. Stevie just won't budge. The clown car is full boys.

Sounds like Jerry got turned on with Garrett's new found testosterone spike he saw during the game and is considering an extension (contract).

"They played hard" excuse me while I vomit. How many times do we have to hear that? Can that translate into winning meaningful games?

I think the players and coaches could have played a lot smarter, but hey, they're young -- maybe they'll figure it out in a few weeks.

The exception to that theory is RM. He should be an absolute guru, but he's instead just a guy who's gotten passed by.

The other obvious caveat is JG, but let's face it -- he's a manager, not a head football coach.

I don't know. The Offensive and Defensive Line players & scheme is not working. Maybe, they can work on that. They should have fixed it after the saints loss.
