For those saying he no longer has speed, he does. I still don't see where people are saying he's done, I don't expect CJ2K, but Chris Johnson still has something that most RBs in this league don't have (Besides a gunshot wound. Just getting that joke out of the way :p)

Patience, vision and burst. He'd of ran for 100 yards last night.

Okay, you're giving me quotes from Chris Johnson stating he felt he was mislead with the Jets AFTER being let go. And seeing as how many players have ill-will towards the Jets after leaving or have openly criticized Rex Ryan, why is Chris Johnson exclusively being criticized?

The most I remember Johnson saying that could have stirred up trouble is when he stated back in 2011 that he can't be productive if there are no holes to run through. I guess I'm looking for Johnson and his teammates having a feud, because all of what I'm reading isn't a "locker room problem" - that's something I save for players of a higher caliber of problems. I guess that's where we differ on this.

No I'm giving you solid proof the guy is a problem in the locker room. Move along now.

I'm not sold on Chris Johnson..however this question makes me wonder if Randle, McFadden and Dunbar would also not be on anyone else's roster if we cut them. This can't be true right? McFadden is playing for a small non guaranteed salary. We may have came close to cutting Randle after his underwear theft last year. The thought that we may have 3 backs who would be out of work today if not for us is as depressing as people having to argue over Chris Johnson.

This reminds me of what Romo said on Jimmy Kimmel when he was lobbying for Demarco to be resigned.

The entire booth crew all agreed there is no one who is a FA rb right now whom is better than anyone on the boys roster now. If SJ or JJ wanted Johnson he would be here...period. The Cowboys are clearly waiting for a younger vet to be cut lose.

The Cowboys have been patient at RB and will likely continue to be.

They aren't going to sign guys and guarantee them money at this point.

Randle, McFadden and Dunbar is a perfectly fine RB corps. If one of them works their way out of a job via either poor play or injury they can be replaced easily enough.

If Dallas thought CJ2K was a big upgrade he'd already be here.
If they thought Ray Rice was still an elite back and worth the bad press he'd be here.

Situations change and the team may pull the trigger on something but it's hardly time to panic.

Last year SD beat us 27-7. We ran for below 4 yards per carry with Randle and Ryan Williams.

Seastrunk has some speed and moves, needs to learn to catch the ball.

Arizona offered Chris Johnson a one-year deal a few days ago. Nothing on whether he's considering it or not.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's waiting to see what else pans out. The Cards already have Ellington and drafted David Johnson... in other words Johnson could go there and maybe get 100 carries.

I got your back E this guy has not signed because there is nothing left in the tank, he is a locker room problem, and his entire career has been a "me" first personality instead of team first. Don't bring the grilla in Manila here JJ.

Johnson turns 30 in September and has been both a locker room liability and inefficient runner for the last four seasons. Aug 11 - 8:29 AM

We need to sign Chris Johnson and Stephen Jackson so that they take turns with Darren McFadden missing time due to similar ailments.

Or a trade.

I got a feeling that if they like Swaim that they may trade Escobar or Hanna.

One of these D Tackles might bring in a RB as well.

My gut feeling is 2 of the these 3 backs are gonna be gone before the season starts......

Randle
McFadden
Dunbar

Unless Randle is part of a trade, I think he's a roster lock barring injury or more undies.
Maybe one of the other two though.
