And I don't think this means anything for Free Agency, but he's not wrong. The Cooper trade was an extremely aggressive move that for 2019 paid off. Hopefully it remains.
That and the fact that they offered Watkins 15 million a year

People keep saying this year after year, yet it keeps making more and more money. The Salary cap has gone up ridiculous amounts in the last 4-5 years because of how much cash they’re raking in.

People have been saying this since the concussion and CTE stuff made headlines circa 2006-ish. Yet here we are, bigger than ever. What will be the NFL’s downfall this time?

Thanks for posting @Hawkeye0202 .

Are we sure that Stephen Jones isn't @Risen Star? Risen posts a "let's be aggressive this off season" yesterday and Stephen "Purse Strings" Jones says they won't be conservative? Coincidence...I think not.
He's so self deprecating...
What humility and self-loathing.

Good man. I take everything back Stevie, er... @Risen Star .
Good man.

There you have it......now win mode. Guess the question now is defining Stephen's definition of aggressive(lol).

Blah blah blah. Sign a FA other than a Tier 2 or 3 JAG castoff then I’ll believe him / them. Until then - lip service.

Earl Thomas,S-Seattle.
Ndamukong Suh,DT-Rams.
Frank Clark,DE-Seattle.
LaAdrian Waddle,OT-Patriots.
Phillip Dorsett,WR-Patriots.
Jesse James,TE-Steelers.

w/fries and a coke....thanks.
Well we certainly wouldn’t be able to complain about pinching pennies for awhile lol
This means they make an actual run at Earl Thomas.
The tea leaves are certainly seeming like they are going to go hard after him. Not in their recent kicking the tires way. I’m actually going to be surprised if this is a deal that doesn’t get done.

No. It never includes the Joneses. If your name is Jones, you're photoshopped in this picture:

With reports surfacing that they intend to keep him.

I don't expect the Cowboys will have a chance at Jared Cook, both because I think the Raiders keep him and that these Cowboys can't afford him compared to other teams.

I also don't think Grady Jarrett gets out of Atlanta without a tag at least, nor do I think the Patriots let Flowers walk, just like the Seahawks won't with Frank Clark. Teams don't let pass rushers in their prime get away.

But I do think that there's a good chance that the Cowboys land both Earl Thomas and Tyler Eifert.

The Patriots do have a few UFA DL situations to deal with, cant see them keeping all of them.
Danny Shelton
Malcolm Brown
John Simon
and as you already posted, Flowers.

I have to think that Witten was not coming back if it was status quo as far as filling the holes in the roster. So, I am hoping part of Witten signing meant that they might actually go and get a good free agent or 2.

Hope not. I just don't think he can/will stay healthy after last years injury. Pay him big bucks and then he sits on the bench all year.

It will probably happen but I for one don't want it to.
His injury is actually one that when healed makes it stronger than it was before.
