Stephen: Steele can be a really high caliber RT for us

Seriously. Stephen...........how the %$#& would you know?

What? Did Jerry pass along his valuable NFL evaluation chromosome to his kids? Lucky you!

Now you can make the same expert observations as your dad when he said:

"Emmitt Smith is a luxury, not a necessity"

"I'm disappointed at the reason we're having to make this change. I have to be a realist, I hadn't thought or hoped that we'd be sitting here after the sixth game making these adjustments." - referring to Bill Parcell's decision to start Tony Romo over Drew Bledsoe.

“If we had picked Manziel, he’d guarantee our relevance for 10 years,”

Now I'm supposed to trust what you think? Run along....

He was a heck of a lot better then Collins last year. Granted that’s not saying much with the year Collins had.

Have no issue with the move that was made there.
If Stephen Jones told me water is wet I might not believe it. If he says anything about the Cowboys or the NFL I absolutely won’t believe it.

My guess is stuff went on with Collins we werent privy to which sped up his demise.
There was plenty of talk about Collins coming to camp overweight which was a big factor in causing his hip problems that needed surgery. Once he got the big payday, he just didn’t care anymore.

I’m not saying Jones is a good evaluator, however…. The Romo thing is funny. Because Parcells even made the mistake with Romo too

I do think Steele can be a league average type RT. I don't think he was that last year, he got alot more help on that side than we ever gave Collins. However people aren't wrong in saying he was alot better than he was as a rookie. I think he can on par with guys we have had before in Columbo and Free. Guys that are just good enough not to consistently hurt you, but aslo guys that make you wish you had better
No he didn't get help the all 22 film voucher for that.

“We had a decision to go with somebody who fit better for us under the cap and a younger player,” Jones said. “We just had to make a difficult business decision. ...”

Dallas could/should say the same abut Zeke?

How did Parcells make a mistake?

Do you believe that Romo didn't benefit from staying on the bench his first three seasons while learning under Parcells and Payton? Romo was a preseason star in the games when he was playing against mostly 3red teamers and camp bodies. Romo needed those years to develop. He needed an offense built to succeed. he needed to be taught how to be an NFL quarterback and he needed Parcell's "Quarterback Commandments".

Actually agree with Stephen on this one.....
See, I can be open minded!

I feel like Steele could be a solid starter, however, Stephen just jinxed it. Gave him the ole' Jones' boys kiss of death.

I agree with him. He improved greatly from his rookie season to last year. Hopefully he continues to improve.
I thought he did a pretty decent job last year. Makes me wonder who the backup is behind Steele? Or if they even have one yet.

The Cowboys mindset: any of our guys can be as good as anyone in the NFL! Yeah, must have been such a difficult decision to keep your own when you have zero intention of paying anyone of value in FA.

I saw a review dating back the last couple seasons and he actually graded out better than LC in pass blocking and penalties.

Where LC was clearly superior was his run blocking.

You need to find another job you are not that good at this. Stop patting yourself on the back. You suck. Get another like from fools.

Is anyone gonna have the balls to call him out on the cap BS?

Until Steele proves what a hype-prone guy like SJ has to say, I'll wait 'til Steele succeeds on the field with his play. We'll see.

Steele has a lot of work to do before he's totally prepared to live up to Stephen's billing. Let's hope he might fulfill that responsibility.

Hopefully, Terence Steele will work feverishly to continue to improve and show he's able to approach the level of play that La'el had.
