Stephen wants to be like Belichick and always be decent that way you're always relevant

Nobody on that team is in the same stratosphere as Dez Bryant.

None of the Patriot's WRs are for sure.

On the other hand Gronk is quite possibly the most dangerous TE in the history of the game which is obviously makes their offense somewhat unique.

Tony Gonzalez says hi...

Gonzalez had a great career, quite possibly the best career, statically, for a TE ever.

Game for game, Gronk's stats are the best the game has ever seen.

Heck, he scores more TDs per game that Dez Bryant and Dez Bryant is a WR!

I'll take Tony over any TE. Ever.

Gronk averages more yards, receptions, and TDs per game than Tony Gonzalez did in his career.

In the case of TDs, Gronk scores 2x per game than Tony did.

It's really not even close.

Beyond the receiving stats, Gronk is a devastating blocker -- something Gonzalez was never known for.

I like Tony Gonzalez, but your wrong on this one. Frankly, the league has never seen a TE quite like Gronk before.

I'll stick with Tony.

Matt Cassell is the exact proof that it is the Patriots system that makes the Qb's look good. As soon as Cassell left, he sucked at the chiefs, sucked at the vikings, and now is on his 4th team. So if the Patriots developed him, then they failed horribly, because Cassel sucks.

Well, the original argument was that Brady is the reason why they always win. Now, it's the system, according to you. You can't have it both ways. Either way, my point is that it is easy to point to a team that hasn't had a losing season since 2000 and say that they want to emulate them. It is much harder to actually do it.

That was not MY original argument. I think Brady is a great qb who is in a system that makes any qb look even better ie Matt Cassell. That crap division doesn't hurt either

Why can you not compare him? because of his 3 superbowls from 11 years ago? Because he won one last year? He was not the best qb last year, Romo and Rodgers both outplayed him last year, hell Rodgers even beat him head to head. Just because he has the SB's does not mean he can't be compared to anyone else.

Brady pretty much carries that team every year. The only real big stars he's been able to work with are Moss and Gronk.

Yeah Superbowls do matter that much.

Shows that just because he doesn't always have the flashy numbers, does not mean he's not very consistent.

I can and just did. Romo was objectively a better QB than Brady last year. Nobody is saying that Romo has been better in his career, but everything about the Dallas Cowboys offense was better than the New England Pats offense. It was a better offense with a QB playing at a higher level.

Cool

He's still nowhere near Brady.

Superbowls from 2003-2005 have 0 to do with who played qb better last year. He carried nothing last year with his top 5 defense. Romo and Rodgers outplayed him in 2014 and that is just fact

They can out play him all they want. Who has the ring?

Give me Brady numbers, and his rings.

This is why outside this forum, cowboys fans get laughed at. You can't talk crazy like this off this forum.

Is Romo a great QB? Yes, but regardless of his season, last year, the year before ect ect, he can throw 7,000 yards next season, 60 TD's and 0 ints, and he's still not ******* with Brady. Point blank, get over it.

Frozen you're being delusional man. You using rings from 11-14 year ago as an argument for who was better last year. Do you not see how that is senseless? Did anyone say romo has been better his career than Brady? No. Was he better in comparison to him last year? Yes. Was Rodgers? Yes. Your opinion does not override numbers and facts dude, point blank period.

You act as if numbers tell the whole the story. They don't.

Did Romo have a great year? Yes. I do also remember Brady having games(With an S) last year, that Romo did not have at all last year. Oh and he won the SB last year.

So all in all, he had the better year overall. Romo just put up better "statistics"

Romo's week 16 game against the Colts is superior to every single game that Brady had last year. Both of their teams ended with the same record, so you cant use that either. The SB is a team accomplishment so you cant use that as a barometer of which QB played better. The Patriots had a better year than the Cowboys and the Packers, because their team won the SB. However the QB of the Patriots (Brady) did not perform better than the QB of the Cowboys (Romo) or the Packers (Rodgers). There is a reason Romo and Rodgers were All-pro, and Brady was not. There is a reason Romo and Rodgers both got more MVP votes than Brady.

Honestly, Tom Brady hasn't really been that great since the 2nd loss to the Giants when Welker left to go play with Peyton.

They benefitted from a weak conference and weak division this past year and even further benefitted from the worst offensive playcall in sports history. If the Seahawks run the ball, Brady's .500 in Super Bowls and this thread doesn't even exist.

I can agree that the hawks made a dumb play call.

Hawks were supposed to win this game.
