We haven't won 12 games in a season since 1995 and while the team is not perfect, I see no reason to ***** and complain. This is the happiest I have been watching the Cowboys since 1995.

OP started a good thread and the criticism came from people who did not agree with him.

For those of us that agree with bailey we got the same lip.

Another example is Aikman. People who thought he was going out of his way to bash the Cowboys were retards. Now every game he announces people are critical of his commentary.

You can't fix a problem unless you admit there is a problem. Wade, players, coaches say the same things every week there is no problem. Problem with denial the check becomes due at some point.

I am critical of the defense because I love the team and I got a bad feeling.

I know people disagree and it is cool to have the dicussion but the people acting like we are stupid for thinking that way are missing the point of a discussion.

Problem is you know you make those kind of threads to get the response you are getting.

Fans of 12-1 teams rarely are going to listen to "oh we are bad and once we face a team with real offence, we will be killed".

Let's look at the facts.

McNabb was supposed to chew us up, oops nope.

The Giants were supposed to nail us in New York, nope.

The Packers, well there you have it, we won't be able to stop Favre and his 5wide. 27-10 later I think it is safe to say we did.

No way we stop the Rams, they didn't score an offensive TD on us.

The only team that has dominated us offensively is the Patriots. That is one game out of 13.

It seems that some just want the defence to have 10 sacks a game, not allow a single first down and give up no points all season.

Other than the New England game when we let Stallworth score the killer TD in the fourth, this defence while bending too often for even my liking, has stopped the opponent when necessary.

Yesterday, stopped them at 1st and goal in the first quarter. Stopped them twice in the fourth.

Stopped the Commanders when it had to do so, Bills, Giants.

Face it, the defence is not dominating because it doesn't have to dominate. The players know our offence basically cannot be stopped unless it stops itself. We have had the lead so often that the defence has let up. It is human nature. Do I wish that were the case, no, but it is the way of the world.

dallas defense usually starts slow in games, but they pound opposing offenses consistantly thru the entire course of a game. it takes its toll.

most of them hated Parcells too. they just hate.

They are more afraid of losing and feeling hurt that they prefer to yap and complain that we will lose so they can say afterward, see told you.

In the end, they cannot lose because sooner or later, any pro sports team does lose. The second that happens, negative nancy is happy because she can say, see told you.

Oh, the record is fantastic, but this is all about a sixth Lombardi Trophy. Dallas is not a "we're just happy to get there" kind of town. Nor are its fans. And when we see things on the field that could potentially imperil the dream of a sixth championship, we're gonna take notice. Lord knows our opponents will.
