GRPD: Woman shoots at McDonald’s over bacon
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – A woman accused of firing a gun early Monday morning at a McDonald’s restaurant – allegedly because she didn’t get bacon on her sandwich — now faces three criminal charges.

Torres and another woman placed an order at the drive-thru window at the business located near 28th Street and Madison Avenue SE on Sunday. The workers got the order wrong, police said, and the customers were told their next meal would be free.

So the women returned to the restaurant’s drive-thru window around 3 a.m. Monday and ordered again. Torres was the passenger in the vehicle, and was flirting with the employee in the first drive-thru window. police said. She left that person her phone number in hopes he would call her later.

Torres and the other woman drove up to the second drive-thru window to get their order, which was wrong, police said.

Woman Arrested For Beating Herself Up
Chicago police were called to a home after a 911 call to find a woman hitting herself in the head with a crowbar. When two officers tried to calm Jenny Peak, 33, she dropped the crowbar and started running her head into a living room wall. Peak then began punching herself in the stomach and breasts yelling “take that, p***y.”

“She was determined to beat herself up,” an arresting officer said. “And she did. One of the worst beatings I’ve ever seen in my twenty years on the force.”

Allegedly, Peak had taken a $12 bet from her stepfather that she couldn’t “kick her own ***.”

“I knew I could beat myself up even though I’m pretty tough,” Peak told police. “I wanted to really show him [stepfather] that I wasn’t afraid of myself.”

Her stepfather said he will pay her the $12 for winning the bet, but will not cover the expected $4,000 in medical expenses.
