Read most of the thread but not all, I'd just like to see what it would be like to have Hatcher and Ware get after the QB all day long, in stead of Ware dropping into coverage.

Switching to a 4-3 defense could make this defense worse. Our LBs are big strong guys built for the 3-4; you can't just switch over to the 4-3 and not get torched. Our LBs are too slow for the 4-3, and our DEs (Ware and Spears) are not built to be 4-3 DEs either. Then again, I'm ready to try anything at this point.

i think the greatest thing that can come out of playing the 4-3 is getting ratliff on the field. the guy makes plays every time he's in there.

Our LBs (read Bradie James) are too slow for the 3-4...MUCH LESS the 4-3!!!

what does speed have to do with anything? shouldnt u be actually complaining on their tackling? u can have all the speed in the world but if u cant tackle ur useless. thats been their issue, not speed. they've been in posistion to make plays, they just havent made them.

All I'll say, Rich, is that I think our personnel is fitted just fine for the 4-3. Yes, MLB would probably be our biggest problem, but you know, Bradie hasn't exactly been excelling at 34 ILB anyway. (And wouldn't it be something if Bradie weren't the MLB?)

well then maybe u should be the Hc, because parcells himself has said many times in interviews that dallas is in posistion to make tackles. they just arent making them. i guess all of you couch coaches know more then that man.
