But, if Stephen is the one that finally bent Jerry's ear in the right direction, then there is some hope.



Oh, and again...I was one of TO's biggest supporters when he came to the Cowboys, but last year totally turned me off of him...again!

Yeah i'm really looking forward to the day Stephen takes full control, I hope he's nothing like his old man. He is about the only hope this franchise has for the forseeable future.

Again, like I posted the other day, it's a phenomenon how somebody can get so attached to a player like TO!

Even when Emmitt got released I never read the outrage over that like those guys do with TO! And Emmitt was a Cowboy from the beginning, with rings to prove his worth!

For the life of me i don't get the loyalty either. The guy wasn't drafted by us, didn't lead us to crap, except controversy, was a punk even before he got here and displayed punkish behavior most of the time while here. Guesss it's a punk thing.

I don't know if it's "punk" thing or not, because the man has/had all the talent in the World!

TO had the ability to be a "franchise" player for a team, (maybe the 9'ers), but his inability to control his emotions, see things for what they REALLY ARE....is where his downfall comes from.

The guy just has issues...and that is sad for such a good guy, really, but a bad teammate as evidenced by the many team he has been on.

I feel sorry for the guy...the football world was his, if only he knew how to handle himself.

But, I would make a bet that he does come out with another book about the Cowboys. He did with the eagles.

Dude give it a break...there's a reason he got cut from 3 teams, even after he put up huge numbers..there's a reason Jerry got rid of him..There's a reason he signed with Buffalo in 48 hours..BUFFALO! Why didn't the powerhouse teams make a play for him? If it's all media then why didn't New England sign him..Owens,Moss Welker!? hmm there's gotta be a reason.

I guess Frisco,Philly and Dallas were all wrong..

I don't think he's a god. But, I have common sense to know he got cut from three different teams for three different reasons. Unlike someone like yourself who would rather tow the propaganda line because of your inherent bias against him. I have no reason to defend him. I don't know him personally, but I have enough common sense to know from my own personal experience not to be prejudicial, and I have enough experience with the media's angle against things personally related to me - like my religion for example - to know how skewed and how ignorant they can be, and how they can "push" people into believing whatever the want.

And that's where you fail because according to the head honcho on the Cowboys, that is exactly one of the main reasons why he was cut. I mean, it's in the article.

I don't know why you're laughing what I said. I only gave JJ's reason, so, either believe him or don't. But, apparently people with preconceived notions already believe what they want to, and that was my point.
