Have you ever considered that maybe we consider the subject of Jerry Jones relevant to the Dallas Cowboys? Further have you considered that Owens signing with the Buffalo Bills is not about the Dallas Cowboys?

Not when half of the members wanted him gone.
Not when ALL the Moderators voted that it was the right move to cut Owens.

No we didn't. Some of us didn't vote on that poll. The ones who did all did vote it was a good move. But it wouldn't hurt to tell the truth.

Let's please not be so simplistic in our little black and white world that we pretend that all head cases are the same. Being occasionally sullen or loafing on a route is not the equivalent of having a penchant for almost a neurotic need to divide lockerrooms. If he just wanted out of a bad situation like Moss or Dillon, that would be one thing. He didn't want out, he wanted to divide the team into "them vs us" to prove some point he conjured up in his convoluded head.

Everyone but TOs staunchest supporters know this. I swear, I don't know how many Cowboy fans got sucked into this nutcase's spell, especially after he disgraced this franchise by celebrating on on the star at Texas Stadium (twice) before he got here. But I guess once a player puts on the silver and blue colored laudry, then he's just "misunderstood". He was nothing more than a mercenary player, making rap songs bragging how he got his money from Jerry Jones the moment he signed, and I don't know why anyone got emotionally invested in him as a human being or a player. He'll be as significant in Cowboy lore as Ryan Young. If he played for any other team his staunchest supporters here would be the first one pointing fingers and laughing at them for being so emotionally invested and loyal to this fool.

Bold--> I disagree. Ryan Young never enjoyed even a fraction of the devotion that some have (and continue to) lavished upon Terrell Owens. That very real emotional connection between some Cowboys fans and Owens will place him several notches above Young, although I would conceded that he will only be regarded as a minor footnote over the course of Cowboys history.

I actually feel sorry for TO. I'm serious...

I think the guy needs therapy. I know that if I had his talent and got bounced around by team after team, something is wrong with me, not the teams.

He can't seem to understand that he is the sum total of every decision he makes in life! And that goes for all of us.

And, I'm serious about this...after reading his book, I think the life changing moment came when that kid spit in his mouth while he was sleeping on the school bus with his mouth wide open. I think that moment set his mental state to what it is today.

Such a magnificent talent...really gone to waste!

He needs therapy, period.

He was quiet for about 3 weeks while his hand healed up and I think one of the weeks the Cowboys were on a Bye.

So? He only gets into trouble with his mouth when he starts with his me-me-me BS when the team is struggling. That's the exact time he needs to show his teammates/coaches he has their back. Instead he chucks them under the bus.

He was avoiding Werder's questions, not the media's questions. Maybe he should have been a little nicer to Werder and then Werder wouldn't have rolled up the sleeves as much in putting him in the spotlight. Seems to me Ed Werder got the best of Terrell Owens in this battle.

The sad part is that Terrell Owens has lost every battle he has ever fought in the media and with the media. The reason being is that all the media has to do is starting asking questions and lo and behold there are people willing to talk about how much of an ******* #81 really is at times.

You would think by now he wouldn't like being punked again and again. But nope. He gets sent packing once again and still he says it was all 'them' and 'they' are the problem.
