You apparently have a fellow fan in Tony Romo who is happy that the young WR is getting more comfortable with the Offense. I am told he said as much to Jason Garrett. Look for Ogletree to get more and more looks.

Always great to hear about more weapons being added to the offense.

And I'm glad to have been wrong about this team needing receivers.

He actually said something about Ogletree back during training camp in one of his media sessions when he was talking about the 'boys young receivers.

Good Ogletree is a beast. Kid just works hards and comes to play. With that speed and his mentality there's no way he wouldn't get more reps.

I have been saying for 9 weeks now to play Ogletree more.

Jerry Jones told the coaches to play him more.

Now, why can't Wade and Garrett see the oblious?

Desean Jackson would still be riding the pine if the Cowboys drafted him.

It is ridiculous not playing rookies. You don't have to start them but PLAY them some.

pushing Williams farther away from the spotlight--hope Williams responds well to the "non-number-one" receivers getting lots of attention (I think he has so far despite folks trying to create controversy)

we've got several young studs emerging lately and Ogletree is just starting

How much of the Offense does he know?

Think that could play a part in how he is used?

Maybe he just wasn't quite ready the past 5 to 7 weeks. But now was the time, and the situation was just right to put him in. As a big rival game, the Eagles thinking, yeah right, a rookie UFA getting the ball in a key play.

Then BOOM [where's John Madden] hit them with the rookie....

He can't know that much. He was undrafted for a reason. Being undrafted makes him a no talent scrub. :laugh2:

I read where it was said on the Randy Galloway radio show that Wade was the one who told Garrett to use Ogletree in those bubble screens. Imagine that...:D

Good to hear that Romo likes what he sees in Ogletree. The more weapons the better. Ogletree looked good in pre-season and has made the most of the opportunities that have come his way I look forward to seeing him getting more chances to help this team win games.

I think Wade has a bit more say than some are willing to admit.

He certainly displays a nice burst, and those quick parallel passes add a new dimension to the offense. Last summer I compared him to K-mart, but he might be a tad faster.

Ogletree was very impressive against eagles, especially his speed. Yup, I sure like to see him get more involved.

That's good to hear. However, there are only so many balls/plays to go around. I cant see them doing much more with KO than what they're doing now.

The thing I like best about him is he always wants more yardage. he fights for every inch of ground. I feel pretty good about our WRs this year.

Austin...22.7 ypc
Hurd...19.2 ypc
Ogletree...19.0 ypc
Williams...17.1 ypc
Crayton...16.6 ypc

I love seeing production like that.

True, but let me say this, it's more than we got from Stanback.

No doubt.

And I'm wondering how long the 'experiment' lasts in New England...

If a guy is playing well they can find ways to get him into the games a bit more. Dallas has used a lot of 2 TE set who is to say we use a little less 2 TE sets and a few more plays with 3 and 4 WR sets and have Olgtree in more of those formations. Don't take that as I'm saying the majority of the time but there are ways to get good players a few more oppertunity
