Hey, that's a good comparison... their playing styles do seem to be somewhat similar...

I have always thought that Kevin Olgletree reminded me of a young Jimmy Smith. Very similar build but I think Ogletree may have more speed.

Considering how much he trusts Austin already. Couple that with the secret meetings with Witten. He's obviously got chemistry with Crayton.

The thing I like best about him is he always wants more yardage. he fights for every inch of ground. I feel pretty good about our WRs this year.

I really think Ogletree has the chance to be our next Miles Austin. An undrafted rookie that develops into a legitimately good player. He's miles(no pun intended) ahead of where Austin was as a rookie. I remember seeing Miles as a rookie and thinking nice speed, but the routes are bad and the hands need a lot of work.

In preseason Ogletree was running crisp routes, seems to have nice hands, and has speed to burn for sure. In fact, does anybody know why he went undrafted? Small school? no production in college?
