Hearing talk inside Valley Ranch that some feel Ramsey is better at Safety.

ON Lawrence: hearing supplement he was taking that had a banned ingredient in it, and also hearing he was taking something prescribed to him in recovery. (personal note) --> i think both stories might be true, one being he got caught with the supp and lost the 4 checks and this one is the medical prescription.

ON Bosa being the pick: Because Lawrence's 4 game mistake do you make a 4 yr mistake on Bosa?

Think its coming down to Ramsey and Bosa at 4 even before latest news

Spence is a explosive player off the snap. But when you talk to coaches about him theres a pause.

A guy to keep an eye on in a trade back or at 34, Leonard Floyd DE/OLB Georgia

4 is not high for Zeke

Seen Crawford outside and he is alot better inside.

Asked Jerry at Owner meetintgs, and he said even if they were to draft a QB at 4, Moore would be the backup in 2016.

Question on Hardy return: Nobody at VR wants him back.

The Jones' came out and said that a big priority this offseason was solve the backup QB situation. And now? Oh, we knew we wanted Moore as the backup all along. LOL. Then why say 3 months ago you needed up upgrade the backup position?

Does Ramsey being a safety more than a CB change our perception of him? Is he all of a sudden less valuable?

I think this last part here really speaks volumes. I'm sure we'll never know all of the fine details; but Hardy must be impossible to deal with. When was the last time a player with his talent went completely untouched in an offseason?

Hell, considering our problems in the pass rush department you'd think we'd have had Hardy's agent on the phone ASAP after news of the suspensions.

With edge rushers being in such high demand it's amazing NOBODY wants this guy.

Remember this is what 3 or 4 people talking for an hour with who knows where they get their info from. Mostly it's their opinions from a blurb from a coach, or liquor store clerk...cramped in a 4 x 6 room....and it is draft time with Jerry speak, coach speak...and even liquor store clerk speak....

Saw something on twitter yesterday (I think) and Stephen said Ramsey is probably better at corner or maybe it was he was further along at corner than Byron Jones at this point last year.

If Ramsey is on the board we better be taking him. I'm a Bosa fan but in terms of generational talent you have to give it to Ramsey. If he's a better safety, then you alter your defensive scheme to accommodate him.

Personally, the way the game is played now with more multi-receiver sets and TEs an even bigger part of the passing game, I think that the safety position has never been more important on a defense. As a safety, I think Ramsey brings much more value - it maximizes his range, hitting ability, blitzing skill and he can lock up TEs and match up with WRs. His lack of turnover creation is somewhat troubling.

That being said, I don't want the Cowboys to take Ramsey. Trade down if possible, and if not, select either Tunsil or Elliott.

Thanks a lot for the tidbit. Good stuff!

I think it's time to finally sail by Hardy boat away.

Floyd at 34? Lol. He's going teens to 20s latest.

Thats why they said a trade back or at 34 if he were to make it there

Well they speak to coaches, and over the yrs this is where most of the right stories and what the teams done have come from. Sure they dont get all right, but most of the stuff they talk about is directly from the team

I really think SD takes him. So are you on the Zeke bandwagon?

The consensus best player in the draft falls to 5? This has been a crazy offseason.

They talked about Jacksonville really liking Ramsey and they wouldnt be suprised to see a SD Jacksonville trade

Ramsey would be a top 5 pick in any draft. I believe the same cannot be said for Bosa. He's on the top end of an average DE class and so he's artificially in the top 5.

IDK about all this generational talent stuff, Ramsey didnt show anything special while at FSU. He showed good play but nothing that really caught my eye. I remember seeing Deion at FSU and i saw special. I see Zeke and i see Special. I saw Bo Jackson and i saw special. Ramsey is just eh

I think so. Keep in mind Mo and Carr are on the last year of their deals. We will need a CB pretty bad. I think Ramsey can be an ok CB but he would be a much better safety. You could play him like jones last year. A bit of both and see if a true CB falls to you are you hit on a guy later. Then move him to safety after you fill that need be that this year or next

He may be a generational athlete but don't see the generational player. Watt is what a generational player looks like
