If they take Ramsey and play him at safety that's fine. I don't like him nearly as much at corner. He needs to see the play in front of him.

Lol maybe.. Funny thing is we had no passrush in 2014 either
actually the last 6 games and 2 playoff games this team avg'd 3 sacks and 3 TOs a game. Marinelli switched to press man and this team had a offense who controlled the tempo. So teams had to take chances and Dallas capitalized

You right. But we created a lot of turnovers. And that isn't Ramsey's specialty. At this point it don't matter who we take, they all got warts. And Goff and Wentz will be gone..

True but he wasn't challenged in college . as a saftey he had sticky coverage

Yea I remember us turning it up.. Our pass rush tho could get a huge boost after the first 4 games this year.. So do you think Lawrence's suspension will get overturned?

IDK about all this generational talent stuff, Ramsey didnt show anything special while at FSU. He showed good play but nothing that really caught my eye. I remember seeing Deion at FSU and i saw special. I see Zeke and i see Special. I saw Bo Jackson and i saw special. Ramsey is just eh

Question, what make you see Zeke as special? Some have said he does not have elite vision and speed. Just curious.

i sure hop e they don't draft another cb they need to draft a playmaker on offense because one player on defense is not going to help them that much. need to draft zeke if they don't they will regret it for several seasons.

4 is not too high to take him. worth the pick. they actually said if the top 2 teams werent so QB needy they wouldnt be suprised to see him go 1.

Who was saying this? Sorry I am in Toronto, i dont get these things. Forgive my ignorance

I just can't see the team liking Bosa. He is not a RKG. When he comes to his first NFL practice, is he going to head up to the coaches and, 'sup?' Or is he going to act like a grown man with professional aspirations (as other top picks act)?

Ramsey, at the very least, doesn't come off like a drunk frat boy.

That being said, why are we even seriously considering drafting a guy at 4 when we don't even know where he'll play?

Seriously? Doesn't that kind of position ambivalence make the team nervous? It's not like Ramsey will dominate at either/or. If you were sure that he would dominate at one of the positions, it stands to reason you'd plan to put him at one. The fact that the team, or scouts, don't even know which one he'd be better at implies that he's actually not capable of one or the other.

And furthermore, we're going to draft a safety at four who's shown no talent at turning the ball over? How is that going to put us in the Superbowl?

If its medical then yes. Von Miller got his overturned for the same reason, it was medical.

He may be a generational athlete but don't see the generational player. Watt is what a generational player looks like

Not coming out of college, he wasn't. There were plenty of doubts about Watt in 2011, which is why he wasn't taken in the top 10. Scouts questioned whether he was a tackle or an end, said he was an overachiever, said he was on the ground a lot, said he didn't play at a high level all the time, said he couldn't rush off the corner well enough to be an end in a 4-3, said he didn't two-gap well enough to succeed inside ... you get the idea.

Every player in every draft has flaws. Some players overcome them and become "generational players" in the NFL. Others don't and end up anywhere on the scale less than that.

I wonder if we could find ourselves trading down to 7 or even 9 and still have the chance to pick Zeke.

I'm NOT saying Bosa will become JJ Watt, but the same exact things were said about Watt pre-draft as we're hearing about Bosa. Lacks mobilty. Won't win on the edge. Never will be a top pass rusher since he lacks edge speed and bend. Stiff off the ball.

These pundis, us included, act like we know what a player will become, but the truth is that there is no way to predict.

If Ramsey is on the board we better be taking him. I'm a Bosa fan but in terms of generational talent you have to give it to Ramsey. If he's a better safety, then you alter your defensive scheme to accommodate him.

so you think that Ramsey will become a game changing, play maker in the pros even if he wasn't that in college?

I like Bosa more than most. I don't know if he will be a super star but I think he will be a much better player than most here do

Did Watt look like a generational talent coming out of Wisconsin?

No
The point was a generational player is totally dominate. Watt was a petty dominate player in college, more so in the pros. No one expected watt to be that good but most thought he could be a good player. With Ramsey I think he can be a very good player at safety but not at CB. The problem is CB is where the team wants him. I'm fine with Ramsey at 4 but I suspect lots of people will be disappointed in him as a CB
