keep Ellis and make him a 3rd down/pass rushing specialist. make spencer the starter. Taylor said he only wants to play for 1 more year or 2.

I think that would work perfectly for the Cowboys. They didn't draft Spencer in the first round to be a part-time player forever.

If they were to trade for Taylor for a year or two, that would work for them in that Spencer could take over and they would have a large salary coming off of the books.

Ellis would most likely be here only a year or two himself.

If they could wiggle the cap room needed this year, I would include Carpenter if the deal mandated it. Bite the bullet now and get yet another large contract off of the books for the future.

Any moves would take some creative cap maneuvering.

Maybe we should call the Commanders?

He and another poster got into a pissing match via PMs. I advised him to put the other poster on Ignore. He didn't and the pissing match escalated. He received a PM that quite frankly was beyond atrocious, but he had baited that poster into it and had ignored my advice. My sending a Warning to that poster instead of a suspension was not good enough in his mind and he left. I do my best to be fair and feel I was, to both of them. I agree with him that the PM was way over the top, but I don't agree with how he handled his side of it, especially after my advice.

I like Rack and wish he'd change his mind, but I believe I handled it exactly right given the circumstances.

Hes hot head and hes stubborn. If he is not going to come back after that then hes the one being a Greg Ellis.

Anyway I for one like the fact that you guys are reluctant to use the ban hammer. keeps things interesting.

What the other guy posted was horrible and it probably deserved more than a warning. Had he not been baited into it by something bad I probably would have suspended him. However, I'm not a hypocrite and I would have had to sanction Rack too. One for not heeding the advice and 2 for the baiting that was out of line too. If I had warned Rack and permanently banned the other guy he still would have been pissed. In his mind he was an innocent victim and I was the jerk for allowing it.
