You are basically a sad troll. Pathetic as you know you are.
I bet the Dak detractors were pissed when Dak tore it up against the Buccaneers playoff game...but were elated when Dak threw those 2 INTs and contributed to the 49ers playoff loss.

But Beasley’s production did drop off. It wasn’t near as drastic as Dez and others. Fair point. How did Beasley’s production do at Buffalo. I’d bet that his highest production was with Romo.
In number or receptions or yards in a season, three of Beasley's best fous years were while he played for the Bills. His yards per reception were highest in Buffalo for a couple of seasons there, followed closely by two seasons in Dallas.

Ummm….no. There’s a reason why he couldn’t play for any other team.
Cause he was old and done by then? Twill was an excellent 3rd round pick and covered for the miss on the Escobar pick rip

Saw a stat (and a video) from last year about those short routes around the NFL.
Moore called less of those than 80% of the league, believe it or not.

All team route trees--especially with 3-4 WRs--usually have one guy run a curl or hitch.
The other players are going longer to varying degrees.
Up to the QB to decide where to go with the ball.
Dak didn’t see the deeper routes open, so he checked down.

Nope. That Bucs team sucked and had no business being in the playoffs. You think people treat Dak bad now? Imagine how it would have been if Dallas had lost that VERY EASY game.

Again, nope. It was expected. Dak had a great game against the Bucs because they had a terrible defense. SF, on the other hand, had one of the best. Everyone knows, including you, that Dak struggles against really good defenses. He always has.

Oh, really? You should do some homework before commenting and spreading false information.

For the record, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the 10th best Defense in 2022 by giving up an average of 324.3 yards/game, whereas the 49ers were in 1st with giving up an average of 300.6 ...

The Cowboys D was in 12th place, giving up an average of 330.2 yards/game.

In other words, Dak faced a top 10 Defense against the Buccaneers at their place in the playoffs, while Brady faced a 12th ranked D in Dallas. The challenge was harder for Dak than it was for Brady. Buccaneers had a top 10 defense. So much for the false rhetoric.

Say whatever you want about T Williams, but (and no I didn't watch the video, just basing this off statement) I agree.
I would take Romo with this team any day over Dak. I don't hate Dak,so don't label me a hater, just feel that Romo had a better handle of the game and was basically a better QB. this team neglected Romo until it was too late in his career when they finally decided it may be a good idea to get a good oline so that the QB don't get killed.

No. My argument is elevating receivers is about more than the QB.

Just thinking of a receiver at random: Terrell Owens had only one 100-reception season (in 2002) in his career and his top receiving-yards season was 1,450 in 2000. Before that, he had just one 1,000-yard season (1,097 in 1998) and no more than 67 receptions in his first four seasons. Know who the QB was during his "elevated" seasons? Jeff Garcia. Know who his QB was before that? Steve Young.

There are really too many factors to even consider. It could be opportunity for the receiver after not getting as much previously. It could be blocking by the offensive line (if it's poor, the QB can't hold on to the ball long). It could be the other receivers and tight end drawing away coverage. It could be a strong running game causing defenses to have to focus on that. The QB is a factor, but just one of many.
It could also have something to do with the defenses played against in a given year.

LOL..funny guy.

A "top 10 defense"...in a division they won being 8-9.

That'll boost your defense stats.

The level you will stoop to is ...pitiful.

Know who else thought Romo was the better QB? The Joneses.

They would not even allow him to compete for his old job back. Speaks volumes as to who they thought would win that competition.

Use your brain for once. Everyone knows those Buccaneers played other teams outside of their division as well.

They had a top 10 Defense, the G.O.A.T. at QB, and lots of weapons on Offense, especially at WR. Almost the same team which won a Super Bowl 2 years ago.

What's your next excuse?

I still believe the good QBs, or veteran QBs can call their own plays. It's better that they don't, because they take enough heat now as it is. Dak is the one out there playing, you can't tell me he couldn't call his own plays.

I could be wrong, but didn't Dak change up that one play against the Eagles back in 2018? That TD pass to Cooper. He's been here for 7 years now. He's going to know if crap is coming in from the sidelines.
First time I heard a QB calling their own plays was Jim Kelly, then Peyton Manning.

You appear to be one of those who believe that winning is all about the quarterback instead of the quarterback just being part of the equation. We had a different team in 2016 than we had in 2007 and 2014. Hard to say that Romo would not have won with it.

Matthew Stafford couldn't win a playoff game in 11 seasons in Detroit. Goes to LA and suddenly, he's a Super Bowl-winning QB. It's all about catching lightning in a bottle. Now, since Garrett was still our head coach, it was always more likely that we were going to be struck by lightning than catch it. But you never know.
Winning is a big part of the quarterback which is why Dak was great against the Buccs and we win and why he as bad against the 49ers and we lost.

You guys want to protect the QB and that’s great but it’s not realistic. You can’t hide a QB. Many have tried and many have failed. At some point your quarterback has to play at a high level and one thing Romo showed us throughout his career is when the playoffs came you maybe can hope for a good to below good performance.

We can talk our flaws and all but the Cowboys should not have most to the Giants in 2007 and they shouldn’t have lost to the Packers in 2014.

They want to revise history on the Buccs. Especially him anything to discredit Dak.

OK dont kill the messenger...

This should be fun...

I don't have the time to look at that video but I can tell you this it's very close but even in a tie I'm taking Tony Romo just because of his pocket presence was better literally the way he always kept his eyes down the field didn't care about getting hit was moving up and around the pocket before he gave up on the play and I think that presents in the pocket made him a slightly better quarterback. He was always trying to make a play downfield sometimes I got him in trouble other times it paid off and it paid off big if you look his his touchdown interception ratio and how little interceptions he actually had compared to what his reputation is supposed to be as a joker which is completely wrong.

But yes I believe they are very similar having very similar careers but if I had to choose I'm taking Romo to break the tie.
