Says he was charged with public intoxication and that he wrapped his car around a pole and left the scene of the accident.
Lucky that he didn't kill himself or someone else. There are no excuses for driving drunk, especially when he can afford a cab or uber.
I haven't read all the posts so it's possible this has already been answered. but i'd like to know where he was, who was he with, prior to the 4 a.m. incident. very poor judgment at the very least.
I don't agree. Not only do I feel it's my business but the public's as well. Professional athletes are public figures. So says the law.He’s an adult that’s not your business.

It is illegal to leave the scene of an accident before the police arrive. Not everyone knows that. I didn't know it until I was nearly 30. So I was driving 14 years before I found that out.
Did he handle it right? No, but if he wasn't drinking and things occurred like he said, then it shouldn't be a long-term problem.
