Only thing I don't like about the kid is he is a "body catcher", I absolutely disspise receivers that don't go get the ball with their hands. Not using your hands often leads to dropping issues. But it's not saying he can't still succeed, Mike Wallace comes to mind.
TO was body catcher and he turned out fine yeah he led the league in drops but TWill will never be asked to be a true #1 WR on this team.

I think if you draft a guy and acknowledge that you don't think he'll ever be a number one, I think you should look to draft another guy. That's just silly. You're basically admitting the guy just isn't that good.
Dude, you look like Romo.
Funny you say that because I've been places and wearing Cowboys gear and have definitely had people looking at me and I could tell they were talking amongst each other trying to guess if I was a player or not. While I don't feel like I necessarily look like Romo but at a distance with a hat on I could definitely see some sort of resemblance. We are almost the identical height and size. oh and I can throw a football about 60-70 yards Not that that matters I just wanted to get that bragging right in there. LOL
Yeah that is why Jimmy Drafted Alvin Harper. To supplant Irvin. Harper was a 1 trick pony, throw it up an I can jump really high and catch it.
Tavon will never be a #1 in the NFL. TWill was a 3rd round pick which means he had some holes in his game.
Duck footed, body catcher. Can catch the slant well and get open with long, straightline stride. But not much else, and not sure handed. Basically we have another Roy Williams on our hands... only not as big.
Yeah, you didn't understand my point at all. Good job. Jimmy did not draft Alvin Harper to supplant Irvin, he did however believe he was drafting a guy with the talent to be a number one receiver in his own right.
I don't see how you can necessarily say this about Terrence Williams after one game... as cliche' as it may sound as "far as him making the most out of his opportunities because he won't see many," you still will have to allow him to bridge that NFL gap.
Yes everyone drafted is supposed to be the man in their position. Not true teams draft for needs. Austin will most likely not be here next year they drafted TWill to replace Austin who is the #2 WR on the team. Again the Rams did not draft Tavon Austin to be the lead receiver there, they drafted him for his playmaking ability but he will never be a #1 receiver. TWill is going to be our Torrey Smith To Dez who is a more athletic Anquan Boldin.
In Reid's press conference today, he specifically said that he does not view Austin as a #2. Why? Because Austin has the talent and ability to be a #1, despite the fact that he's the #2 on this team. So to suggest that it's okay that TWill doesn't have the talent to be a #1 because he was always supposed to be the #2 is just asinine. And you are also essentially saying that if/when we lose Austin and TWill replaces him, we are downgrading at the position. Every team has a #1 and #2 receiver, it is those teams that have two receivers with enough talent to both be #1s who have the dangerous passing games. You are getting caught up in this silly 1 vs. 2 ranking.

I'd say this is basically true. Yes, there are exceptions. We'll see, I guess.
