Romo makes TWill better. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up big enough numbers this coming season to merit the $$$ the market has set for a 2WR in today's NFL. But then again... Brice Butler will have something to say about that.

Hurns broke 1000 yards receiving in only 15 games last year. He had 10 touchdowns last year as well, where as Williams' career high is 8.

Hurns is young and more talented.

Not sure what the market is for Williams to be honest. He isn't a terrible #2, but I don't think he is a great #2 either. He is so inconsistent.

He has never broken 60 percent on his catches.

Allen Hurns last two years totals

115 Receptions
201 Targets
1708 rec yards
14.9 average
16 TDs

TWILL numbers the last two years

89 Receptions
158 Targets

Just stats...not sure what they mean to anyone....but here they are anyway.

Oh, Allen Hurns is MUCH better than T-Will. He's trending up where T-Will hasn't progressed. Hurns is much better.

No one ever said he was. He walks. Still hasn't learned how to snag a ball and utilize his speed. Butler will start pushing him out this year. Fully expect Twill's best effort this year to be 600 yards a couple TD's.

That contract is a win for both sides imo. Hurns is a great fit in that system with the other players they have there. Unlike Williams, he has been able to step up his game when the Jags number one was out with injury. I don't know how Williams would be able to command that type of money on the open money given his body of work. He would have to have a stellar season.

The writing is on the wall that Williams gets to walk after this season. He's good enough to want to test the market, but not so good that we're going to want to lock him down.

I preferred the 3-year, $15 million deal that Rishard Matthews signed with the Titans. Barring a significant turnaround, I'm saying goodbye and good luck to Terrance Williams next year.

My fear is Williams will say he is the #2 starter.....And wants to be paid like it. 10 Mil a year is the going rate now....:omg:
