People calling Cooks trash must be mad because they had their heart set on OBJ or Hopkins. Cooks is a legit receiver that makes this unit a lot better. Also big that they only gave a 5th so they keep their big draft capital. This team is already better and there is still free agency left and the draft. Solid off season so far by the Jones boys.
Those "fans" would have called OBJ or DHop trash too. That's just who they are.

How many had 3?

How many have had a double digit TD season in their career?
i do wonder how many have had his number of 1k seasons since coming in the league. he’s not THE guy, but has shown to be fairly consistent

I'm missing your point because the guy just had 1k yards with Davis Mills at QB. He's been nothing but consistent. Amari has not. Amari has bad years sprinkled into some of his good years.
....and Cooper just had over 1,000 yards with Brissett as his primary QB in Cleveland....so your point? Also, Cooper had over 1,000 yards in 6 of his 8 seasons and Cooks had 1,00 yards in 6 of his 9 seasons.

The two WR's are somewhat comparable in their stats in spite of an additional season by Cooks and better QB's early on.

Is this a good move for Dallas based on trade compensation, salary, and WR ability/performance? Absolutely.

Agreed. I thought we was gonna go Odell which i didnt want. I welcome this. D Hop would have been fun but it was Social media that drove that. Cowboys and Cardinals never even discussed a possible trade.
I agree. I didn't mind Odell but I didn't know if he'd be healthy honestly. Cooks is much safer and smarter for what we need.

There's nothing wrong with Brisset...a solid QB in this league. ITs a good move for Dallas. That's all that matters. Anything else is just "talk".
