Still waiting on that NT or two.
Had WRs the year before and the QB still folded, this is nothing new.

Underwhelming. Over-rated and over-priced. He is a definite upgrade over Noah Brown… but this only makes us marginally better.

Hardly a “splashy” move. Hope I’m wrong
Please explain how Brandon Cooks is overrated. He has had 1,000 yards in 6 out of 9 years, and basically just sat out the Texans dumpster fire of last season.

I hope so...but Cooks has been traded so many times...makes you wonder if he is a cancer in the locker room or a mini - TO
If he was TO we would probably know it by now. But we don't know what happens in the locker room.

I don't know if this will pan out, but we are making a hell of a lot better attempts at improving the team than we have in the recent past. The only move I haven't liked so far is franchising Pollard. A lot of money on a guy that is coming off a broken leg and we aren't convinced can carry the load game after game. A lot of decent RB's out there being signed for cheap money.

Hoping Schultz can find him a big money deal out there somewhere so we get a decent comp pick...but it is very clear he way outplayed his hand.

Over the cap had us at 22m under, this would make us around 10m. We will get Zeke's money added after June 1st. So there is the possibility of another move if we chose to. I would guess we will stand pat now....maybe some cheap signings like in the past for depth. Maybe a move after training camp to fill a need.

Keep in mind Cooks has a 2024 cap hit of $24.6M with no dead money for Dallas to worry about and will be 30 years old this season so this may be a one-and-done season trade opportunity for Dallas.
If traded to Dallas, the guess is that Cooks will be placed in the slot given Gallup and Lamb are on the outside.
Lamb will be in the slot more. That's why they were looking for a guy who can playing inside and outside

57-699-3 last year.

Never had a double digit TD season in his career.

When your team is 24th in passing (led by Davis Mills), 31st in rushing, and your biggest other receiving weapons were Nico Coleman, Jordan Akins, and Chris Moore last year will happen. Not to mention Brandin missed 4 games. Agreed on the TD's.

They franchised him to work out a longer deal

Anyone being realistic knew we had no shot that's why I never even paid any attention to those discussions. It made no sense for them to bring in D Hop's contract when they have Lamn waiting to get paid. And when it comes to Odell I'm not even sure if he wants to play. Too much of a circus around his deal.
Agreed. I thought we was gonna go Odell which i didnt want. I welcome this. D Hop would have been fun but it was Social media that drove that. Cowboys and Cardinals never even discussed a possible trade.
