Oh that's pure crap. Prescott and Carr is a lot better than Davis Mills that's for sure. And Jared Goff. Why would you even put Jared Goff and Brady and Brees in the same damn sentence?
I put Brees, Brady, and Goff in the same sentence as those were Cooks' QB's the first 6 years of his career....and I agree Carr and Prescott are better than Mills....but I guess you simply failed to see my point that Cooks had better QB's early in his career than Cooper had when comparing their cumulative stats.

He’s a deep threat. We needed a guy like Amari that can get open using a variety of routes over the middle.
Brandon Cooks is that guy as well. And we didn't need that type of receiver lol. Especially one who couldn't do it in big games or on the road.

Ok there is no way stephen jones is doing tbis on his own. 2 awesome trades that on paper the cowboys win the deal. Someone is helping pull off these deals. Probably the devil.

It was common sense what you meant but Debby Downer wants us to feel bad about this trade lol.
Where did I say I want anyone feeling bad about this trade? Oh, and the BS debby downer comment is just you being butthurt again.

The fact is Dak now has a WR group better than in 2022 so there are no more excuses albeit MM has stated that he just wants to run the ball so I am surprised at this move given MM's take on his approach....especially seeing how MM said Moore just wanted to score points (aka pass the ball a lot).

Better than signing Beckham.

Cooks just shows up and does what he's asked to do.

He won't upset the balance on the team and he should be a good accent to Lamb.
I hope so...but Cooks has been traded so many times...makes you wonder if he is a cancer in the locker room or a mini - TO

I'm missing your point because the guy just had 1k yards with Davis Mills at QB. He's been nothing but consistent. Amari has not. Amari has bad years sprinkled into some of his good years.

He won’t be a $24.6 million cap hit for us. His prorated nonus money from signing bonuses stays with Houston.

Cap hit for 2023 is $12 million since the Texans are paying $6 million of his salary

Cap hit for 2024 is $16.5 million which includes his $13 million salary, $3 million roster bonus, and $500K game roster bonus.
Thanks for the cap update.

I like the trade. Only on the 2nd page of replys and i can see many on here talked themselves into believing we had a real shot at D Hop, Evans, or Jeudy so are throwing temper tantrums :lmao2:

Anyone being realistic knew we had no shot that's why I never even paid any attention to those discussions. It made no sense for them to bring in D Hop's contract when they have Lamn waiting to get paid. And when it comes to Odell I'm not even sure if he wants to play. Too much of a circus around his deal.
