In what world do you live in where Brandon Cooks has been average?
I guess we blame Davis MIlls for Cooks being 44th in WR (61st overall) receptions last year.

Don't forget the Captain Crunch cereal! Lol...just kiddingRecklessly posted based on legit salary cap sites? Okay. Go about with your accusations and false representations while I enjoy my blueberry pancakes with a strawberry compote.
In excitement if that RB is Bijan Robinson. If they take a RB in the first round, this board will explode.
Could see a tight end there as well. Not sure the DTs there at 26 are worth that spot but I wouldn’t be mad with a little stretch. I think there’s better value in the second round at that position.1st round picks should be ear marked for OL and DL only IMO. Every NFL team has learned their lesson on RBs in the first round. Curtis Ennis, KiJana Carter, Rashan Salaam, Felix Jones + 50 more.
He’s still really good and he’s still much better than cooks. He missed 6 games for suspension last year and still deliveredI like Hopkins, but how is he a splash ? He’s been rather pedestrian that last couple years
Come again lol?Cooks is hardly more than a JAG but it is a cheap deal so whatever
I was typing my comment when it came outit clearly says the texans picking up 6mil of that..
Yeah except he had better numbers than Cooks last year with a month less games.Look at Hopkins last two seasons. He’s the one who can’t stay healthy and is likely done.
Why can’t it be 2021 when Cooks had over 1,000 yards?Because we are trading for a “name” at this point. Maybe if we lived in 2018 this trade would be more exciting… but a player who has played for 4 teams in 9 years? At 18 mil a year for a 9 year vet on the downside of his career?
Nah. Doesn’t blow me away. I’m glad it’s only a 5th and a 6th— at least we didn’t get fleeced in the trade— but I am afraid this trade removes WR “off the list” and this FO will consider the WR problem “resolved”.
Blame Mills and Jeff Driskel for a few games too, Houston's QB's were a dumpster fire last year.I guess we blame Davis MIlls for Cooks being 44th in WR (61st overall) receptions last year.
It was the PED’s!!!Yeah except he had better numbers than Cooks last year with a month less games.
Good point, bro!
I think most folks feel that the Cowboys got a good player that improves the team. Some will poo-poo this move and the Gilmore trade but these are real upgrades. Put together a nice draft and you’ve got a quality off-season.Everyone is so desperate for a trade just for trades sake.
Sounds like most of you want to throw a parade for Brandon Cooks.
And I’m sure playing on the worst team in the NFL led by Davis Mills had nothing to do with it…Yeah except he had better numbers than Cooks last year with a month less games.
Good point, bro!
What the hell? He makes the team better ...... he is much better than Gallup ....... only reason to be upset about this is if you had your heart set on Hop or OBJEveryone is so desperate for a trade just for trades sake.

And Cooks missed 4 games last year. He really hasn’t been much better than Cooks the last couple years. But I guess the stats don’t matter. He’s still really good and he’s still much better than cooks. He missed 6 games for suspension last year and still delivered
just making sure you saw it..I was typing my comment when it came out
