Maybe if all the whiners who wanted someone else and already have a bad reputation about negaitivity all the time would put away their agendas and name recognition, they would simply appreciate that we just got a starting WR who is definitely better than our #2 guy, who brings the speed and the YAC, for a 5th this year and a 6th next year. I wanted Jeudy over either of the old guys like Hopkins and OBJ who’ve both been injured the past two years, but I can see this was a better deal.

I swear I think many of you guys think it makes you sound smarter to be negative about everything when it does the opposite.

What the hell? He makes the team better ...... he is much better than Gallup ....... only reason to be upset about this is if you had your heart set on Hop or OBJ
There was another option that would've improved the team even more by trading for Hopkins.

I like all three of those players as well but I don’t think the draft will play out in a way that makes this possible.

If we can't get Bijan Robinson, then Siaki Ika would be the pick for me at 26. Especially if we can trade down a few slots with perhaps the Chiefs. I think we could easily get him at 31. He'd make our defence nearly impossible to run against. If we take him or Mazi Smith at 26, then I'd probably go Guard at 56, and then take McBride or Tank Bigsby in round 4. This would give us the answer at NT and RB, and we'd get a top LG to help move Tyler to LT. I'd also possibly explore dealing Tyron Smith. I think, if we can get a 3rd or 4th for him, then we can also use that to possibly trade a bit higher for another tackle or guard.

And Cooks missed 4 games last year. He really hasn’t been much better than Cooks the last couple years. But I guess the stats don’t matter.
If you think defenses fear cooks like they do Hopkins….have at it. I don’t die on that hill. Cooks much faster but he had 2 games last year of 80+ yards in 13 games. Hopkins had 5 in 9 games and scored more touchdowns

Why can’t it be 2021 when Cooks had over 1,000 yards?
How does how many times he’s been traded affect his play?
And the Cowboys will be paying Cooks 12.35M, not 18M
Just realized Hou is paying 6 mil… that helps offset some of the risk for sure. I don’t know where that puts us next year in terms of his contract.

This isn’t a hill I will die on— and I hope you’re right. If we get 1100 yards and 7 TDs it will be worth it.

But if he gets hurt, or goes for 800 or less yards, and 4 or less TDs— all we may have accomplished is distracting ourselves from other available WR options.

Let’s talk in Dec
