you realize cooks had less than 700 yds last year right? not everything is looked at in a vacuum

On a terrible offense. He goes to a much better situation than what was happening in Houston.

The fact is they unloaded a contract and have money to improve other areas. You have 2 guys with similar career numbers for less money. Keeping Cooper would’ve been a terrible move for a team with little money to begin with.
Coopers dead money is still on the cap....

Very nice. Big improvement over what we had, not too expensive, adds some juice to the offense

He had 699 yards in 13 games on a bad team with QB issues.

How did we have a deal in place for a 3rd, if the Texans wanted a 2nd? Did the Texans try to pull some shady last minute bait and switch?
Either poorly worded or the Texans initially agreed but backed out and demanded a 2nd. Just goes to show how much more valuable picks become as the draft approaches. Teams start to fall in love mid round players and want those extra picks to try and get what they think will be multiple steals.

von has only been traded once.
either way, on his 3rd team..so anyone using that as a negative is looking to whine.. Mack how many teams, Wagner? Ramseys?? 3 each...

In todays NFL this is very common , pre 90s almost never happened players started and finished careers I the same teams. Welcome to parity, new age FA and the cap..

He played in just 13 games last year and played Davis Mills, Jeff Driskell, and Kyle Allen as his QBs.

Why do folks act like QB play doesn’t relate to WR production?

sure. i like him just think that pointing to one season of output is silly. why not use amaris numbers this year and ask yourself if we could’ve used that?

Explaining why underscores not looking at things in a vacuum. My whole point

4 times in a 9 year career.
In the long history of the league, there's probably several way-under-the-radar players than eclipse his total; but no doubt Cooks is at / near the top of the list of notable\able players that has been traded the most.
NE traded for him and reached a SB.
Rams traded for him and reached a SB.
Houston traded for him and couldn’t get their QB out of the massage parlors.
Dallas traded for him and …
