Texas Rangers 2012 Thread

PANIC!!!!

I'm very superstitious, the slump started when I came to NYC to visit my mom, so it won't end till I get back to Texas! Be ready for another week of slumping!

Come'on... To expect this team to continue play at an over .700 rate is unrealistic.

Yay for Beltre. The rangers need to hold on here, really need the win

Another solid start by Holland. He hasn't been great but he's putting in innings, even when he doesn't have his best stuff. Last year, he'd have gotten rocked early and then gotten pulled by the 4th if he didn't have his stuff going.

Outstanding game against the orioles. Hopefully Harrison has returned to form.

The bats came alive tonight. Snyder sure is surprising me so far this season.

Also the Orioles seem to be Rangers North:

Buck Showalter
Darren O'day
Pedro Strop
Chris Davis
Endy Chavez
Tommy Hunter

I knew of all of them except O'Day. I didn't realize he also went to the O's. I saw Chris Davis (yes, the 1st basemen) got the win (yes pitching) against the Redsox the other day. :lmao2:

Interesting enough, Snyder came from the Orioles organization. Info I found says the Rangers merely purchased his contract from the Orioles.

And it looks like he grew up very close to Baltimore as well. Wasn't he part of a trade as well? Or am I mistaken?

I wish O'day was still with the Rangers.

I'm thinking of heading up to B-more tonight (from DC) for the Rangers game. Anyone else going?

I would love to see Camden Yards, but it's just too far for me to go without prior planning.

Actually people are telling me that it's likely to rain, so I'll probably not go.

If you told me we'd be 19-10 at this point of the season, I'd be elated.

Stay positive Ranger fans!

early 5-0 lead. hopefully we can hang on and the Angels will finally lose. it seems like they've been winning every day we win for the past week.

Josh Hamilton has just gone 5-5 with 4 homeruns and 8 RBIs. Each homerun was a 2-run shot. Un-freakin-believable. I hope a lot of you guys are getting the chance to watch this.

And that one measly double that fell about 10 feet shy of another homer... lousy Hammilton.
