wow Greinke for Feliz and no olt or profar is robbery. i would do that in a heartbeat. rangers havent been happy with feliz's maturity the last few years and he still hasn't developed a great 2nd/3rd pitch. i'd have no issue with that trade.

And he's locked up for 2 more seasons. He'd be a decent stopgap/platoon guy in LF if we lose Hammy.

Rusty Greer is my favorite player from my childhood. Him and Pudge are the best. Beltre is moving in on their territory.

BTW Grienke would be the best pitcher on our team instantly. Not bad for a head case.

Only way we should trade any of our top guys like Profar or Olt for Greinke is if he agrees to an extension first. No way if we only get him for 2 months.

I'm with you on not trading Profar. Martin Perez is another guy I probably wouldn't trade. Feliz and maybe Olt would be worth the price for Greinke and a WS

Aah, not Feliz! Me wuv him, just because he throws 98 mph. Think he could be an ace someday with his stuff.

Um...no. Jon Daniels is not dumb enough to give up all that for Johnson... at least I hope so...

Johnson is a very good pitcher and he would still be under contract, unlike Greinke. And he's having a bit of an off year so his price may be down a lil right now. He's the guy I would go for, since he's not just a rental for 2 months.
