For this reason hopefully we keep Andrus at SS when Profar finally comes up.

Where do you put Profar? He won't take Beltre's spot and at least for the immediate future he won't take Kinsler's spot at second. It currently appears that his call up for the stretch run this season is imminent. I'm guessing as a utility infielder. Where will that leave Michael Young? Of course, Young's WAR is double digits into the negative.

I'm interning with the RoughRiders. I got to meet Koji briefly got to chat. Really nice guy. The two guys I got to seem him face in BP he looked sharp. Hope he can get back.

Profar might be better than Young at this point; but if he is going to just sit around with no AB's he might be better off hanging out in Frisco. As much as I would love to see him, the kid is only 19. What's the hurry?

Frisco's regular season ends on September third. So you will probably see him after that. Possibly before.

I guess I was talking about Profar being up next year at 2B with Kinsler taking over LF from Hammy if he leaves as a FA (which I'm pretty sure he will). Right now, Profar would at the very least serve as a decent pinch-runner along with utility infielder. I wouldn't be surprised if we put Young along with Oswalt on revocable waivers to gauge interest.

I think Josh will remain a Ranger.

Hopefully.

This seems like the best place for him.

But Cardinal fans thought the same about Pujols.

If some team offers insane money the Rangers will let him walk, no doubt.

Yay. They didn't get swept.:

O boy, I am a derelict. I thought they were playing tonight. I could have followed along at work. O well, great news as they won.

They tried to give it back.

What kills me is two of these games against NY they get really good pitching performances then they don't hit? Go figure!

Hopefully Yu dominates tonight, he needs to be more consistent.

I'm not sure what to think of Darvish.

His "stuff" is electric. But he has trouble locating his pitches.

After starting off what like 4-0 in April with an era just over 2, he's 8-8 with an era over 5.

I'm not sure if he's tiring because he does throw a lot of pitches or the rest of the league has figured him out to some extent.

But he hasn't had what you would call a good month since April.

Yu is fine. He just needs a little work and the sky is the limit with his stuff.

A little more work?

The guy has tossed what 150 innings so far this year.

I think he's a "Japanese" Nolan Ryan.

Great fastball, but will always have issues locating it.

I think other teams have learned that you need to wait-him-out.
