Texas Rangers 2012 Thread

Not to get too ahead of ourselves but I'm not sure winning 100 games is out of the question.

Especially considering how many games the Rangers get against likely doormats in Oakland and Seattle. I'd hate to play in the A.L East this year, all five teams have the potential to win 80+ games and four of them are serious playoff contenders.

If we're going to get ahead of ourselves, why not say lets get 117 wins and break the MLB record set by the Cubs and Mariners(116 wins). :D

First Place Texas Rangers. <-- In a woman's voice

I may not live in Texas anymore, but I remember that audio clip from The Ticket. :laugh2:

Rangers look like they are focused. Hopefully they get the ring this year.

Seems wasteful to fly all the way up to Boston just for batting practice.

18-3

The Rangers have scored the most runs in baseball so far this year.

The Rangers have allowed the least runs in baseball so far this year.

That's how dominant they've been so far.

Still 3 iffy things - Darvish and Nathan, while Uehara might still be HR-prone like he was last year.

Boston is up 2-0 after 2.
Holland does not have his best stuff.

He sure snapped out of that slump in a big way the last few days. Good stuff.

In his last 12 games against Boston, he has 12 home runs, 21 total hits and 23 RBI.

It's laughable at this point. He needs to submit a claim of ownership.
