Five undefeated teams and only two get to play.

I think TCU could beat either Bama or Texas personally.

I do too.

Best team didn't win that game tonight. 3 penalties killed Neb. -

2 PI calls and horsecollar call.

Feel bad for TCU and Cinnci.

Maybe ESPN should have four weeks of Alabama against the greatest teams ever beforehand.

the best team absolutely won the game, doesn't mean they played the best tonight.

Texas is the better team. By far.

They just didn't play like it tonight, but they still outplayed Nebraska (barely).

The best team tonight - didn't mean to say NEB. is better than Texas.

the drop by Kurk was the only reason Nebraska was in the game.

and the drops by Neb. WR??? Without the penalties called Texas doesn't win that game.

You dont know that. There were alot of penalties called against Texas as well. Both had 7 on em.

I do believe that the defensive tackle who would undoubtedly have been Johnny Cash's favorite football player (the boy named Suh) is gonna be a stud in the NFL... mercy, he was everywhere...

Well, some they win and some they lose
And the winners all grin, and the losers say
Deal the cards again
Oh, won't you deal the cards again...

Shall we call a waaaaaa-mbulance for you??

You do realize that your so-called "best team" gained all of 106 yards in the game, and had all of 5 first downs in the game, don't you?? No team that puts out such a dismal offensive effort "deserves to win"...

This performance casts significant doubt on our possibility of beating Bama. But who knows?

If you honestly feel that Texas should have won that game - that's fine - but the game I watched - I felt Neb. was the better team tonight.

Once again guys - don't mean throughout the year - but Neb. was the better team tonight.

Both offenses stunk it up - but Neb. defense was lights out against an offense that was one of the top in the country. The Neb. offense has been putrid all year - so Texas shutting them down was not a surprise.

I'm not a fan of either - just stating what I felt watching that game.

We need playoffs BAD ... I mean really bad!!

I agree. He's a monster!

On the other hand, I don't think there is a single person on the Longhorns that I would want Dallas to draft. Maybe the one DB that shows some promise, but that's it.

edit: Just from watching the game tonight you would have to wonder how Colt McCoy was even in the running for the Heisman.

How come the pass to Buckner was called an INT....Buckner caught it and the defender ripped it out of his hands.....it should have been a completion and a fumble.

Haters gonna hate.

I attribute the anti-Texas sentiment to Roy Williams-backlash.

Yup, call it on me - because I'm the one writing childish post on a message board...

Nothing like a message board big mouth :laugh2:

i think so too, but i dont think they deserve to be in the championship game more than texas or alabama. its just one game, this isnt who looks best in the final week, its who has the best season overall.

exactly, its not like nebraska dominated the game, look at the stats, texas had more yards in every category, the defense gave them 9 points off turnovers and thats why they had as many points as they did, texas offense, as bad as it was, played better than nebraska's offense and the texas defense played BETTER than nebraska's

The ball never hit the ground so it can't be a fumble.
