I guess Romo didn't try hard enough for you.
When will that damn Romo learn to stop the run?! :D Seriously, though, I'm not surprised at the hatred aimed @ #9...it's the same song every season but personally I'm concerned about our d. 1st week our run d is gashed and in the 2nd our secondary is sliced & diced! That's where any sort of anger should be focused on IMO...

Yes, I am. During Manning's first 5 years as a pro, he was "known" as a regular season wonder, and playoff choker. He didn't get rid of that label until his SB win.

Romo is turning into a regular season choker as well. Look I don't question the guys talent, but a Manning he will never be. No one ever questioned his leadership nor has Manning ever been punked by a "Loud mouth" wide receiver. Look I am no Romo basher, as a matter of fact I am a fan. But he still makes the same mistakes, I see no improvement. And to Quote Bill Parcells, you are what you are. Adn what Romo is does not equate to long term (read post season...) success.

I dont know about you guys.. but after this.... my faith and patience on this "player" are done!

We need to draft A REAL QB not this charade dude that will NEVER win THE BIG game.

I'm now mixed about Romo, The two games that stick in my crawl, where he wasted a great team effort was this one and last years Steelers game. He needs to grow up. The Ravens he was under severe pressure and still could have won it for us.

I would be very comfortable comparing Tony's numbers and winning record to Peyton in the same number of starts.

Very comfortable.

He will and soon.

Then he will bounce backwards again and have another costly mistake-filled game. It is just his nature.

Great post!

I am with you! We need a stud 6'5 QB with a laser arm and leadership skills.

Not a dud playground QB whose stats where overinflated by Eldo.

Get er done Jerry. Big time QB from big time Program ..

Apples and Oranges.

Peyton had no defense for years and was thrown in the fire as a rookie.

Tony spent time on practice squad and then as back up to learn the offense and NFL in general. Tony come on the scene with some type of expierence in his belt. Peyton did not.

A laser rocket arm QB with leadership skills, ACCURACY and decision making skills shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as that dud.

Romo is a turnover waiting to happen because he plays reckless. That play enables him to put up good numbers but LOSE games. Get that thru your head and quit defending your spooning partner.

Are you really this silly or is it just an act like Gimmie?

Peyton came in the league the number one pick from a big time program and from a NFL Football family.

Romo came in undrafted from a small school with no idea about anything in the NFL.

As far as your "spooning" comment ..... you are the one obsessed with naked 6'5 QB studs.

How is Quinn coming along again? :laugh2:

At this point it doesn't matter who was drafted where or who wasn't drafted at all. they are both starting QBs in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE and the expectations are the same. One is meeting the expectation and one is not. If we keep giving Romo a break because he was undrafted, what we are really doing is giving him reason for not producing at the highest level (read post season victories).

Peyton was not at the same point of his career as Tony.

You should really read the history of the troll you are defending.

I am troll because I dont like Romo as the QB of the Cowboys??

Hmmmm...

I also like #38 and TO so I must be trolling there too?

Roy was my favorite player on the team and I hated to see him go. I try and catch bengals highlights to see if he was any good hits (which he has).

I can also admit that I liked Henson and even thought Julius Jones was going to be a stud and that Bobby Carpenter could be Kevin Greene. And of course I wanted the Cowboys to draft Quinn when he was still on the board. I also liked Kevin Jones when he was still there too. I can admit when I was wrong but wont go down with a sinking ship (romo) and act like its okay, "He'll get em next week".

Lets go back to the days of Q, Henson and company or call 1800-NFL-myQB for a Superbowl caliber QB.

Brett Farve would have never won a SB if Ron Wolfe didn't bring in Reggie White to make GB defense very good. Same with Romo.

You sure he is a sinking ship?

Romo has won us a lot more games pretty much single handedly than he has lost us single handedly.

I agree he needs to pick it up and get better but don't act like the guy is headed for suck because he is still going to do great things more often than not.

Its the games like this though that make you want to pull your hair out.

You are a troll because all you do is badmouth Tony with every post .... even when he is winning. All because you are butthurt that we did not draft your lustful desire Brady Quinn.

You are a Troll because you actively hope that Romo fails.

I have supported every player that has ever laced up their boots as a Cowboy. Some I did not like (deion comes to mind and Owens to a lesser degree) but I always defended them when they played well and did not bash then when they had a bad game.

Roy Williams was my favorite player as well ..... and I hope he does good and gets to the Probowl again ...... but I am not gonna root against Hamlin and Sensebaugh because of it.

Get over your butthurt ...... Brady is not a Cowboy and that is not Romo's fault.
