Let's be fair the guy was at a huge disadvantage starting his first NFL game in the playoffs and having their top player on the OL out. Never seen a board jump to conclusions like this one.

I have been taking offense when people called Dallas lucky when it came to Dak but after watching that, we are extremely lucky. It's not that we got lucky he is so good, it's that the other guys they wanted were gone and he fell to that pick. just can't imaging professions wanted Cook over Dak.

Seattle wanted more and he said no. He apparently was willing to give a 1 and a 3. They wanted a 1 and a 2.

Either way, the trades involving 6 or more top 50 picks we have seen for QBs make those two scenarios no where near the high end.

I don't think this was a fair game to judge Cook on.

However, after watching him at MSU for years, I think he's pretty mediocre.
