That Jets loss is looking worse by the week

Put it perspective, it was a bad loss, but it's still just one game.
NFL doesn't work like NCAA.

"Just one game" is not the mentality we should have. This team had that same mentality throughout the 3 game loss streak. Every game is important to get to the playoffs. That game will likely hurt this team in the long run.

That loss is one of the worst in the Garrett era. The whole team was unprepared. They didn’t prepare in advance to be without Amari. They didn’t game plan against Gregg’s blitz happy defense. They didn’t get any pressure on a half rate o-line. Out coached on both sides of the ball. Jeff Heath your single high safety? Really? They deserved that 92 yd td. I don’t know how anyone kept their jobs after that poop show.

It's a loss. That's all.
Whether you lose to the Patriots, or to the Jets, it's a loss, no more, no less.
If they go 10-6, they're in the playoff.
In the long run, it doesn't matter who you beat, or to whom you lose.

It looks worse?

it looks like a good nfl team

problem with good nfl teams is that they have drop offs during the season lose a game to a bad team

were not elite were just a good team and by good i mean a team thats gonna be over .500 and one and done if we go to the playoffs
that's where so many fans get it wrong they think the cowboys are a elite team and they are not they listen to jones to much this is just a good team with a average to below average coaching staff

That "one game" could be the difference between making the playoffs/winning the division when you consider we have a significantly tougher schedule than the Eagles coming down the stretch and they are only half a game behind us.

I would ask any Garrett apologist, if he were HC of the Patriots for the last 10 years, would those Patriots be as good as the Bellichick Patriots??????

I can tell you with 100% certainty there is a poster here who has said this very thing............. that Garrett is probably as good as Belichick but didn't have the good fortune of coaching in NE.

That's true.
So, if the Cowboys pick up an "unexpected" win, it makes up for it.
So, every game is weighted equally.
It's not like Alabama losing to NE Louisiana and drop 10 spots in the ranking.

I want the Jets to start winning more games because right now we're the only team they've beaten. Uhg. Plus, don't they have more NFC East teams on their schedule? Go, Jets.

The qb that looked great against us, is blowing big time against the rest of the NFL.
I hope this loss does not come back to bite us big time at the end of the season.

Notice how the teams that are beating the Jets are blitzing the crap out of Darnold and daring him to beat the pressure. The Cowboys, with their banged up offensive, hardly threw any blitzes are Darnold and he had time to sit in the pocket and set his feet to make his throws. The Cowboys defense is too soft most of the time. They need to get more aggessive. The lack of turnovers is a definite sign they are not playing aggressive enough up front.

The Cowboys don't seem to handle success or the possibility of big leads well so them having to play well every week to keep their advantage in the division is a good thing.

Remember when the Jets were only 0-4 because Darnold was out, and as soon as he came back they'd be a good team?

Good times.

I just have a terrible feeling that game will cost us a playoff birth. I felt the same way after garrett iced the kicker. That game cost us a playoff birth as well

This, driving into the office today and hearing the talk show talk about the Jets and ONLY having beat the Boys, that loss is more haunting each day and each game seeing them get destroyed by everyone else.

The good news is it was an out of conference game, but I agree. The Dallas defense's performance against Sam Darnold was an absolute embarrassment.

Even worse was they could get no pass rush against a horrible line. But that game is history, and I've moved on. Hopefully, the Cowboys will play like they did against Philly the rest of the season.
Ain't nothing good about losing to Ghost Darnold and the Jets.....absolutely nothing.
