That's enough with Lewis

Brown and perhaps Heath's injuries may br blessing's in disguise. Lewis and Wilson will elevate the play if this defense and actually make us a ball hawking secondary.

Hopefully Heath is out for a few games....lol

Maybe you're not screaming loud enough or are screaming at the wrong people. You've got to try harder, dude.

The fate of our defense depends on it!

;)
Lol!! Oh, I was screaming last night with about 90,000 other Cowboys fans in AT&T. This team came out from pregame warm ups looking ready to go. I'm sitting here now in the hotel lobby drinking hot tea with lemons and honey with a throbbing headache.

it happens. I have racing strips from looking back at the cooper catch and running into the molding on the bath door last night. That play just had to happen when my bladder was calling for a time out...lol

Dang dude...the price of fandom right!?

the good news is Wilson hasn't been on the inactive game list, ..the bad news is he hasn't been in any significant nickel packages and is just as green and inexperienced as his last preseason game.
He's not going to be a factor at all this year. Is Richard that big on experience ? vet Darian Thompson will see far more time than Wilson will.

Jourdan is one of my favorite players on our defense. He has earned more game time.

I do admit that i'd like to see Jordan in the slot nickel over Brown, my only concern is Jordan ability to play outside and guard the speedsters.
Opposing will scout you and move their personnel offense around to gain the better mismatches.

Byron Jones teams are afraid to throw his way but receives 0 love on these boards. Dude is massively underrated.

they are not afraid to throw Byron's way, .you actually think he's gonna INT the ball ? .
but when the other side (Awuzie) and primary nickel (Brown) is proving vulnerable on a weekly basis - why not challenge the other side even more so.

Byron is far more for shadowing the body of a WR, not drive on the ball for a pick.
he's been good at that art, but it won't ever give us the game changing turnover that the more elite CBs have the knack for.

yep, gonna wear them with pride today. lol!!
I'm right there with you...voice is gone, head is killing me, eye's are super sensitive to lights right now, but I'm happy that not only did the Cowboys win but pretty much dominated the Eagles last night.

He is the fastest CB on the team , I more worry about the 6-4 guys.

Lewis is a dawg... Dude is a high energy never back down kinda corner we need more of those guys, and Lewis needs to be starting period. Tired of this he’s not big enough garbage. Get 27 on the field and good things happen for the defense.

He's just a natural football player. The more he plays the better he'll be. It's friggin criminal the way they've used him. He's the best DB on the team.
Best DB on the team is laughable. Should he receive more playing time yes, but he's not close to what Byron is

Pair him with a ballhawk on the other side, and imagine the fear this secondary would give opponent's offenses. I would have loved Ramsey out there with him. Good thing though for us, big INTs numbers command big dollars.

Is this why our coaches teach these guys just to play the man tight and not to turn around and locate the ball? Asking for a friend

We may have seen the last of Brown in a Cowboys uni unless someone gets hurt. I would still target a CB early next draft just in case Chido struggles AT ALL the rest of the season.

i'm already up for finding a new starter vs Awuzie in the draft as. i'm just not convinced he'll be anything better than just decent and his game has too many big holes to continue
having his as a starter, and he hasn't done anything that will alter teams from going after him. and this is his 3rd year now. The good thing I could say is, the plays he does give up
in PI flags and big play gains, it seems it's just once per game. - but that one play is too much a huge momentum swinger for the opposing teams.

Unless there is very little interest for A. Brown in the FA market and Cowboys could get him back at a surprising bargain 1 year deal, I never figured to have Brown returning
next year. Ditto with Heath, who is also a FA.
Brown like Chido, has terrible turn and go ability. Very rarely do they turn their head to make the play on the incoming ball.

Lewis >>> Brown

I totally agree! Watch going forward how much better this defense will be with the more playing time Lewis gets! Oh and one more thing, how about the one handed fumble recovery by Woods! That guy has great hands!
