Here is the list:

1. Keeping Wade under the guise of "continuity" after a horrendous year and a 44-6 gutless season ending performance.

2. Thinking that getting rid of TO would solve all of their problems, even if it solved some, it left a gaping hole at Wide Receiver that the team just refused to address, foolishly overcompensating and thinking that 2 UDFAs and a 7th rounder were good enough.

3. Congratulating ourselves over drafting a second kicker because the one we have can't kick-off.

4. Cutting Greg Ellis and banking on a young hot head that hasn't shown anything.

5. Making excuses, after excuses, after excuses for poor play, lack of discipline, mediocrity and "I don't really care" attitudes.

6. Bobby carpenter, Pat Watkins and Corey Proctor are still on the team.

So you like the way things have gone the last 13 years? Or do you just think if you defend all things the team does you'll get a reward in Cowboy heaven?

For real..there's a difference between being in denial and being a realist. You can still be a fan and be a realist.

Disagree on your point on Flozell. I think after he retires people are going to realize how valuable a player he was.

Except one of those undefeated teams, Denver, just isn't that good.

They barely limped to a win despite having a huge home-field advantage against Dallas.

I am in no way saying Denver didn't earn their win, but they had a ton of help from Romo and several other Cowboys.

The contending teams in the NFL will finish off Denver like a cheap candy bar. And then everyone (who has forgotten) will remember what an idiotic move it was to trade Cutler for Orton.

Dallas didn't show much killer instinct in their 2 wins. There were points in those games where momentum could of easily swung and Dallas could of lost.

Dallas made a bunch of mistakes and almost beat NY.

Unfortunately, thats the hallmark of a bad team. They find ways to lose and don't look convincing when they do squeak out wins.

So New York isn't a good team?

Sorry, all this talk about how Denver isn't that good and we "almost" beat the Giants sounds too much like moral victories and sower grapes.

And did we not have a "huge" home field advantage against the Giants? I'm pretty sure that is one of the reason why Jerry Jones handpicked them to open up the Stadium.

We are 2-2 and statistically can still make the Playoffs.

And as I said earlier, Denver's defense is for real and it will keep them in a lot of games.

Ahhhhhh.. The classic "if you don't like it or aren't as firmly entrenched as me go find a team that makes you coo" response... Gotta love it. Reality bites. I'm not here to prove my fandom to you. That's about as much as I will entertain your ridiculous assertion. Carry on sir rosy eyes.
Guess you don't have an answer to the question....

What does your "realism" get you?

Yeah I like it

I just don't see the point in being a ***** about it. What do you get out of it?

Is it fun watching football games waiting for the other shoe to drop, expecting disaster?

No, it's not fun at all. I don't know who gets any enjoyment out of it. But dont' see why we should sugarcoat it either.

And, what does anyone get out of posting on a message board?

Gotta admit, that one is funny as all get out.

I enjoy it. Just like I enjoy watching the Cowboys. I don't think I would do it if it wasn't fun. And it's not about sugarcoating. I hate when we lose. But I don't expect to lose.

I don't understand why you would do it if it makes you so miserable. Do you eat foods that you don't like the taste? Do you drive a car you can't stand to get into? If you have a hobby, is it something you are a complete failure at?

I know some of you are actually surprised at what is unfolding in front of our very eyes. I'm not surprised at all. Despite being called everything in the book of negative references, I stand here today strong and firm. I always find it funny how the unpopular opinion often becomes reality. Our 2009 team is a comedy of erroneous proportions. While some would like to believe we're attempting to get better as the years go by, thanks to the current decisions makers, we're regressing with every passing minute. Let me provide just a few examples.
  • Locking up an unproven quarterback up with a pace setting contract for multiple years...
  • Trading away the future for a mediocre chain moving WR...
  • Believing that Sensabaugh would solve all of our problems in the middle instead of looking to the draft...
  • Believing that Spencer could fill the void left by Ellis...
  • Thinking that donning the helmet with the beloved star on it automatically makes you talented...
  • Keeping a classic loser for yet another year because he promises to change...
  • Trying to be the owner and GM... I can't name many owners with their own radio show... Attention *****...
  • Re-signing Flozell Adams...
  • Believing we could actually find success without anyone at the WR position to make defenses play honest...
  • Believing that all of the team's problems were no longer on the team...
  • Publicly stating that the intention was to make the team more "Romo Friendly"... So lame...
  • Continuing to live in denial of reality...
  • Thinking T-New hadn't really lost a step... He has...
  • Expecting a dysfunctional coaching staff to function...

This team will continue to win some and lose some. They'll break hearts consistently along the way with their helter skelter play. This is a team that lacks preparation, focus, accountability, and most importantly... smarts. They're just not very good. Do we still have an overwhelming majority that disagree with me or are more of you now seeing the light amidst the roses? When will the tide really change? I enjoy a good laugh but this is truly ridiculous.
You have been reading my threads? ;)

You're not going to get any love around here, bro. Too many people are content to be mediocre. "We are 2-2", they say. "We lost to undefeated teams", they say. But my question from another thread still remains, when did it become OK to lose to good teams? Some people are satisfied that those games came down to the last minute, but not me. You play to win the game, not to come close and almost win at the end. If that was the case, we'd be champions by now.

I agree with Bleu especially the part about the team wanting to make a more Romo friendly atmosphere. Turnover Tony has cost this team 30+ points in just two bad games and an injury to our supposed #1 receiver.

Fans need to stop defending this garbage and point out the flaws as Bleu has done. Think about it. Tony opens the worlds greatest facility with one of the worst games in his career. Man that hurts!

It's like the parents with troubled kids that constantly make excuses for their kids behavior, instead of placing the blame on them.

Gotta link to a post that says someone is content to be 2-2 or that someone is satisfied that the games come down to the last minute?

We're 2-2 and have lost to teams that are undefeated.

Not sure why some are already waving the White Flag.

Also, Tony Romo deserved the money he got. He was playing at a very high level and if the Cowboys didn't sign him, the media and the fans would have crucified Jerry Jones.

You would think we are 0-4.
Didn't even have to search that hard for that one.
