We wont win anything with Quincy Prescott as our QB.....He is awful

It's really starting to remind me of those years. At least with Romo and our bad teams, you knew the offense would be fun to watch. This is boring...

A semi-good defense with a crap offense is the least exciting way to watch football. Heck, our defense isn't even exciting with the lack of turnovers.

Watson had almost twice the yardage.
And took everything he had to win the game. I'm against Dak myself, but there's more to playing QB other than putting up big numbers. If it weren't, we should have been blown out. We just need receivers right now, and we need coaches who can actually coach an ENTIRE GAME, then we need a new QB.

Yall are a bunch of stat nerds. You base everything on stats. I know what I saw. The wrs were a bigger problem than the qb tonight. He didnt stink it up, he got let down.

Never been a Dak apologist. Ive said much of the same but his play he has looked better the last couple weeks. He didnt cost us the game tonight. That was on Garrett and the wrs.

Its funny because if the wrs can bring in those passes they had their hands on Dak would have about 260yds and no ints.

Dak played fairly well under pressure. It wasnt great but yall seem to think we can run to walmart and grab someone better and thats just stupid. Dak is a mid level qb right now. Not great, not awful. He needs more play makers and a coach.

Im not saying you dont go out and get someone to compete but the notion that Dak should be thrown away at all costs is wrong.
Please tell me what you do consider awful?

we need receivers? yeah, all the sudden our entire WR core fell apart and regressed in 2017? nope, its the QB.

I'm off the Dak train. He's not the only problem with this offense but we have to get a guy who can push the ball down the field. Watching all these rookie QB's play is making me envious. We also need new WR's and a real HC.

So Dak is allowed to throw like crap, but the WR better catch that ball.
I personally don't think the passes were that bad. They got where they needed to get in a place where the receiver had a shot to bring it in. In highschool we never had QBs who threw perfect spirals. You had to catch ducks all the time. I would hope by the time a wr is in the NFL they can catch a spiral even if it's not put in between the numbers of their jersey.

I agree. The coaches are horrible but a QB needs to be drafted next April.

What I want to know, is what happened to rookie Dak? He has regressed an incredible amount and the offense seems to not be tailored to his strengths at all. I think there's SOMETHING there and I wonder what he could have done with, for example, Andy Reid.

And unfortunately drafting a QB next year will do nothing unless they gut the coaching staff.

I would go coaching - QB - WR in that order. All things that can easily happen before next season.

In case you haven't noticed, we have Hurns/Thompson/Measley Beasley/Swaim/Austin... Yeah, a world class receiving core there. We need Coach/#1 WR/QB.

In that order.

I've been a Dak supporter.

I'm not now.

He doesn't have the instincts and anticipation to be an NFL quality QB. I was hoping he'd progress, but he hasn't.

And Garrett needs to go. This team is, and has been, soft - predictable - uncreative - and without identity. At least on offense.

I'm disappointed right now. Finding a legit QB is hard. But look at the rookies this year. Look at Mahomes. Geoff. Watson.

I think we all thought, or wanted, to think we caught lightning in a bottle. But we haven't.

This team needs a new direction. A real leader as head coach and a NFL caliber starting QB. We have neither now.

Id start with promoting Richard's to head coach. Immediately.

As far as a QB, unless we get a top 5 pick... what can we do?

And I'd like to add, this offensive line does not warrant being the highest paid in the league. Smith has declined. Looney has showed that you don't need the highest paid center in the league.

I can honestly say I don't see a bright, near term, future. And getting back on tract will require some significant changes.

Exactly. Those wrs did him zero favors.

And one of them was a school yard play where dak did amazing things to avoid a sack, and the chucked it as far as he could and it was caught. Imagine his numbers had he been sacked on that play.

He seems to do well on those plays but ya his numbers were horrible today again
